I wasnt expecting anything, as they havent offered anything the last times they have had an unscheduled outage. So I am positively surprised.

I agree with that. I think it's not only a problem of Betfair. Every bookie tries to make his website more "interesting" by using flash elements or something else, which slows down the speed of the website. In the past the websites were clearer than today. And all this "skill" games, casino. Who's using this? I don't think so many users need this additions.

If you don't like it don't do it.
Hmm.......you normally post really useful & helpful information hareeba, albeit plenty of posts defending betfair but not the sort of crass pointless comment like that, any moron on this site can come out with that sort of trash statement, you are better than that so dont sink to that level.

nah. it's just the pragmatic way to look at it.
just forget the problem and move on. prodding on it will not prolong your life.

all I'm trying to say is that you have to expect the occasional unforseen problem - just part of life

no point in trying to blame someone and expect to be compensated every time something breaks down and inconveniences you

If I recall correctly, those games were/are a significant portion of Betfair's revenue.

I agree totally Santo. They are giving up commission on some very large events this week. It will cost them a bit for sure.
