I am sure you could convince them if ya were a square bettor. You are going to have to get a manager's approval anyway, so ya might as well contact their live support and ask them about it. Unless someone here has had actual experience with this you are going to get people speaking hypothetically about this.

I have frequently and recently bet more than 3000 on a baseball game. You should bet it online, then bet it again over the phone. Also, if you can't bet online for whatever reason, you can call them, make the bet for 3000, than call again, and make the same bet.

Most books will allow you to bet more by phone, especially the way szk1983 decribes, where the book gets a chance to decide if they need to move the number.
