#1087why would MB bother with US college sports when by and large the only people interested in them are US residents and in case it has escaped your attention, MB hasn't had any US resident customers for over 8 monthsOriginally posted by todd73njIm not sure what you were betting, but you can even ask a complete shill like Hareeba, but there were not even lines posted last year on College basketball - they didnt bother. And he will come back and say he doesnt care about NCAA hoops. But they had nothing last year.
If you are talking about the MB of 3 years ago - different story. But that MB was dead and gone long before the sale.

I've already well and truly covered that subject in at least one other thread - there are far more pressing things for MB to be attending to than putting up markets with next to zero interestComment -

#1094Totally untrue... MB had lines last college hoops season. The lines went up about midnight for overnight betting. Between bases and college hoops (until this summer) a good bit of cake could be made making +100 offers.Originally posted by todd73njIm not sure what you were betting, but you can even ask a complete shill like Hareeba, but there were not even lines posted last year on College basketball - they didnt bother. #1096Even Hareeba can tell you that MB had no college BB market maker last season. For the tournament, there werent even any bids. I have posted screen shots of this in prior messages. Hareeba even saw that and responded by saying he didnt care about college basketball bec he had no explanationOriginally posted by offshoregenius77

All you need to do is watch the MMers (when there is one) position on the board - it never gets hit. $$ amount is always the same. MB is not trading either Im sorry to inform everyone.
I know, I know... everyone trades thousands per game. But if you do the math and figure out what MB makes on the thousands just the guys in these threads claim to make - Why in the world did they not have any money, and why did they sell?Comment -

Im not saying MB was the end all, but Betmaker is a complete joke at this point.Originally posted by todd73njAnd the volume from Matchbook is where?

There is no soccer action, no rugby action, Nothing MB has left open since they booted US players has traded. Nothing they left open for a year before they booted us traded.
I have about a ****load of guys who use my chat room - who arent braggers that they win thousands every night gambling - who will tell you the same thing.
Betmaker will trade more in game tomorrow, than Matchbook has in two years.Comment -

#1112Who has a Bookmaker account? Do they have in-play wagering real-time (not commercials only)? Do they keep the original lines (adjust the odds) or adjust the lines as the game goes along? What have they got for options? ML? PS? Total? Any props - what?
Thanks for any info.

Well looks like you got your info on your own.. so no need to respond to the questions. Watch a MB live event.. in a sport taliored for Euros.. they wont even get 30 prices posted. And its been like that for two years. And look at Betfair - (No US players allowed onviously) - they dont struggle for in game volume on ANY event they list, US or Euro oriented).Originally posted by unclebuzz1Here you go Todd (no screen shot)

Nothing trades at MB. Its just the site owners putting up prices so it doesnt look look completely open.
Screen shot a few events 1 hour prior then at game time - you will see that the apparent MMer posted block will all still be there.

Stagnant.
You're not going to convince anyone outside the US that Betmaker is better than MB was or is. It could be in the future. What's important to you is not necessarily important to others.
MB doesn't exist for anyone inside the US. You're running a negative ad campaign against a dead entity. It's like comparing Betmaker to a ghost. It's a non-issue for US players.
Promote Betmaker on it's own merits. It IS the best option for an exchange for US players but not because it's better than MB. It's because it's the ONLY option available for US players.
