Hey andywend. Here are a few questions I have (not sure if they have been asked or answered yet):

1.) As a USA citizen what is the easiest way to get 10k+ on and off of betmaker in terms of deposits and withdrawals
2.) What are the costs associated with the optimum withdrawal and deposit methods
3.) How does their commission structure work compared with Matchbook? The 2% on winners looks good but are there any other "fine print" stipulations such as minimum amount of activity per week or per month to achieve those low commission rates?

Betmaker has one free payout per month? If their is I would like to know about it.
Anyways, in the past year since i have using betmaker I get the impression that it is horse first and sports second. But now that matchbook is out, that may change.

What exactly is misleading?

If you have information that conflicts, do tell. From what I have been told, there is no efficient way to withdraw unless you happen to have an active Bookmaker acct.

At moment seems tough to want to deposit, until there are some improvements, but hopefully it happens, we need a place like this!

I think your wrong on this pass threw as i asked this question with live chat BM rep. These are the rules what they told me first u must not have any rollover pending and must have cashed out 2 times in order to do b2b to begin with, since BM owns Betmaker it is free with no rollover at all and u can transfer $1 if u like as many times as u like as much as u like. If Betmaker steps up and gets there lines right and people move there then this will be great for us but damn i cant really do anything with $50 waiting to be matched expect by tp to wipe my ass with, also the spreads are like half to 1 1/2 point off. But there u go guys hope this helps, i checked around 6pm today with this.

If you want an exchange - really have very little choice.

Post some #s.. see i fyou get hit.

They have a decent API at least if you can program!

I do have choice and will be forced to get some kind of help as my game also needs exchange in the mix. What is API if u don't mind?

Bookmaker told me the opposite tonight: that a rollover is always required.

Love the fact that you get a completely different story from BM depending on who you talk to....

I don't think betmaker will ever amount to much. If it competes directly with Bookmaker, what's in it for them to make it a success if it cannibalizes business?

Betmaker has been around at least a year under CRIS group ownership, and they have really done nothing to promote it. Have to wonder if they bought it mainly for the EHorseX side of the platform.

ANDY wend, so to cash out i have to use a **** which has a minimum 3000 withdrawl. I only put a few hundred in to check it out. I wonder if i basically just gave them a couple hundred bucks. how would i go about withdrawling if i dont have 3 grand in there is my question.

I am officially a Betmaker customer. Already have accounts with Bookmaker and DSI. FYI: You can transfer between all 3 of those books without a fee. Can do it with a quick email, online chat or call. I went ahead and just sent them the max that I could with my ** and it went just fine.

Now, on to try and get a few wagers matched.

So far, I have had good luck getting down smaller amounts. Watching line movement and getting on some ML wagers. Really not that much available ATS. If I get used to things and get a better feel I will do my part to help with liquidity. Also, because the commision structure is different it doesn't make any difference if you are taking someone else's wager or putting your own out there waiting to be matched. I got down on Miami Heat at -210. Also in on Philly -295. In College Hoops I was able to get Old Dom -320.

I have also noticed in just using the site today that a big difference between MB and Betmaker is that without as many sharks in the water you can gobble up some offers without having to be as quick as when I was with MB. Example: Boston/Milw total went from 182 down to 181 and under 182.5 -105 is still available.

Found something else out. DO NOT deposit by **. 8% fee to deposit this way. Cost me $40 for $500 deposit, wow. On the site it says that you will be aware of deposit fees when your deposit is being processed. Unless I completely missed it which is possible I did not see an 8% fee clearly stated. Live and learn.

if all of us ex-matchbook players moved to betmaker and they actually put up all games for NCAAB and other sports we could get decent liquidity there.. but their commission fees also needs to be lowered.

Yeah. 3.5% for moneybookers, just like matchbook. Except, you don't get commission credits. You get points towards lowering your commission. Since they're keeping commission at 2% for now anyway, it means you get nothing.

Looks like the NHL liquidity is already better on Betmaker than Matchbook's ever was. Hmmm, I'm going to strongly consider opening up an account there if they bring in some better deposit/withdrawl options, and be more clear on the costs to move money in and out. Right now withdrawl fees are anyone's guess?!

Yeah, and none of the fees are listed there. If you ask them, they take a minimum of 1.7% out of any ***** or **** withdrawal. If you're paying 2% of profits as comm, and then another 1.7% on the way out, you might as well not be playing there (instead of a regular sportsbook)..

Its a way to creat your own Automated trading program.

If you dont like their platform you can program one that works for you.

All the market makers use different interfaces on all exchanges.

Signed up last week after MB closed to US customers. Liquidity has been low for sure. I did get about $500 in NBA moneylines matched today(accepting some and getting some accepted). Besides the obvious lack of liquidity issue, they need to make the site a bit more user friendly. Also, they should be more active in moving the lines as the market adjusts, as people prefer to bet at current lines. Will be patient with it, since I think many US Matchbook customers will try them out once they are paid by MB.

they are not serious. no idea why they even started the betmaker-project, since the people behind it have done absolutely nothing (ZERO!) to make it work in any way. the only reason betmaker is now suddenly being hyped is because people are looking for any sort of alternative for matchbook; they'll soon realize it's an extremely poor alternative, which apparently even their own manegement agrees on as they're obviously not investing a cent.

I wouldn't to much worry about any of this stuff guys if Betmaker dont wanna step up then rebatewager has something coming in the next month or so. Something will come along the way, but for me im gonna expand my options so i dont have these issues anymore.

Tried to play there today and it seemed on NBA that at some point nearly all the offers disappeared then later a bunch of them appeared again. Any idea what is the cause of that?

I spent a significant amount of time on the phone with Betmaker management today. On my website I posted an email I sent to them with a bunch of questions and suggestions, and posted the replies to it earlier this evening.

I must say I was impressed with their desire to hear suggestions and hopefully implenet some of them. I am very encouraged by their answers to my questions.

If you guys have so many questions - why listen to people here who just seem to be discusssing things they never experienced.

Most importantly to us all is the ability to deposit/withdraw. They told me they are working on more methods as we speak. This is a work in progress. Im sure they did not expect Matchbook to just disappear and suddenly become the only game in town. I personally emailed them a great deposit method that is in use at another book, and the contact information for the processor.

I was told they have an NFL market maker, and a Golf MMer, but currently no market maker for live NBA/NCAA games. However, a friend of mine who was a MMer on both Matchbook and Tradesports, is having a program designed to work with their API and he should be in place shortly. Not to mention, email them and ask for the API information if you are interested.

I made a few other suggestions to them - Such as adding other Odds formats as I personally like to trade live games in % format - Add a .net site so you can advertise legally and people can learn to use the site - I had made some suggestions on contract appearance, but that was before my instant deposit cleared, and now I think it looks alot like BetFair. They will be having halftime lines, and alternate lines (in play once there is a MMer). They are considering their own player forum and chat area. And the suggestion of mine that they liked the best was for the addition of a portfolio page - which will come in handy once they have MMers on board - and multiple games are open live. Youd be able to move all the contracts you are watching onto one page.

I have some money there now, and excited to give it a try. Being backed by Bookmaker give them financial security. So lets deposit and start trading. With an open minded management, maybe they can be more successful than previous exchanges!
