Matchbook to return Commission Credits! (And close futures next week)
Started a new thread with this since every other thread turns into wether MB has liquidity or not or who can still use it and who cant.

Some good news from Matchbook. They are retruning all commission credits from deposits in the last 3 months. I had made a few deposits a month or so back.. And still had $72 in credits. Pleasant surprise. And I guess they will be closing out the futures next week. I will be happy to get my money out and be done with this at that point.

They also told me in a prior email that if your DC has a VC logo you can send your funds to that without a problem.

    Hi Todd,

We are returning commission credits for deposits made in the last 3 months as customers may not have had the opportunity to use them. I have transferred these to your cash balance.

Futures wagers will be settled on an individual basis and you will receive an email regarding them next week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email or live chat (via our Contact Us page).

    Kind Regards

Commission credits are not withdrawable if we follow strictly the service agreement between the players and the book but I think they can make an exception on this rare occasion.

Umm, What are you talking about?

Matchbook themselves (in the email above) are saying they are returning any commission credits in your account that you may not have used if the deposit was in the last 3 months.

MB makes it back in the $35 exit fee they charge. They choose to leave the US market and charge us $35 for it. Plus they tell you how you'll get your money a month down the road. Screw 'em.

So why do they even need to give commission credits back at all? They arent cash. So for any of us that do have them, its appreciated

So if they didnt give them back to you you would lose that $35 out of the cash portion of your balance. If you are trying to say you have nothing but the commission credits in your account - then you wouldnt have gotten anything anyway.

Bottom line, if you have commission credits AND a balance it was definately unexpected extra $$

You should request a $0.31 withdrawal just to stick it to 'em.

It doesn't sound like they are going to settle futures and they probably shouldn't. I'd ask them unless I had a great position...worth a try.

I wont mind if my futures are settled by them... They are all huge favs for NBA totals. I am hoping they give me a good price and Ill take it and have my account closed.
