What warrants a book cancelling a bet?

I run a lot of parlay bets for small money mostly, and every now and then I will see that a game or two within my parlay's are listed as "cancelled" when I check the parlay status. What circumstances cause a book to cancel a bet?

I've got a monster parlay going right now and even though I have yet to lose on it, one of the games on was just cancelled . Hate to see what happens should I win the bet, haha.

Crap, I ended up losing my parlay by 1 game, guess that cancelled bet became moot...still would like to know why they do it though.

Books rated D- or lower may do that all the time.

Some software will show the game as cancelled if the side/total is a push but doesn't mean the rest of the parlay is cancelled.

3 team parlays and greater are reduced down. (i.e. a 3 team parlay reduces to a 2 team parlay)

Don't mean to be rude, but you all missed the point of the question completely... I asked WHAT WOULD WARRANT A BOOK CANCELLING A BET. I know the play is reduced should that happen, I also know that the ENTIRE bet isn't cancelled...i'm asking WHY a book would do it? Work with me people, damn.

Do you mean cancel the entire parlay? Well, they're not going to cancel it if there are at least 2 bets left that don't push and aren't (as individual bets) on bad lines. 5Dimes software shouldn't accept any excessively correlated parlays they don't want, so they'd have no reason to try to cancel the entire parlay if you won.

NO NO NOOOO!!! they cancelled just the one bet, i'm thinking the other guy I quoted was right, that it was considered cancelled due to that particular bet pushing. Aside from that, How the hell could a simple question be misconstrued like that? I thought I did pretty well explaining what happened....sheesh.

Books have different rules about parlays. I am sure there are some that would cancel the whole bet if 1 leg is canceled. Fortunately, none of the A books do this

I'm aware you said that initially, but you ALSO said it doesn't meant the ENTIRE BET was cancelled, I never mentioned anywhere that my entire bet was cancelled...so what are you talking about?
