    cancelled tennis wager???
Carib has cancelled my wager on Eduardo schwank +160 stating that the wrong player was favored???

I am a little confused here considering that the entire market had the same price.

Are all books canceling wagers on this match?

The wrong player was favored initially. I saw it and was about to get on it but do not know much about these players.

But all bookies had it wrong. That is how it goes when all bookies copy one another.

You can view odds history here:

Pinnacle opened up at +193 on Schwank but then it kept dropping and dropping.

You should not be held liable for a huge change in the market. The bookies did a poor evaluation and should honor your bet.

Chela should be favourite, much better player than Schwank. He's just sold the match, that's all - pretty regular thing for him.

        Initial odds were correct.

          This is what I felt.

I think Chela should be the favorite but I felt the line was too high.

I got more on it at the Greek at +145 and they have not cancelled my wager.

Somebody with quite some money has info on an injury that most other doesn´t. Happens now and then.

Understandable that they try to get out of it. But is it fair to do so? That´s a tough one...

                this stinks

there should be stewards alerted to the betting move and Chela be required to pass a fitness test before playing and warned that his play will be under severe scrutiny

No, this happens 20-30 times a year at least, and possibly a lot more (the less greedy ones won't be obvious).

                          Yes i remember another 1.
                          Cuevas-Acasuso.
10 sets Cuevas,2nd set 5:3 + serve and he lost 75,and 6:1. I watched,i can swear that i could played it better after 5:3 in second.
Is there any authorities who we can address if we spot shady game or player used doping?

I think Carib has the rule that the match must be completed without any player retiring. So I think your bet would have been canceled regardless since Chela quit.

Of course it´s criminal, but what authorities should act?

It´s bad PR for everyone if any of the involved businesses takes action so nothing will happen. One time things did happen (Davydenko) and they learned the lesson after all the attention that attracted...

That´s the terrible state of thing in tennis. The good thing is that the number of fixes seem to be fewer nowadays than they used to be, we can never know for sure though.

It´s extremely sad for all those who lost money on this game because they didn´t know. But with that pre-game movement I also can´t understand who put up large amounts backing Chela on the live betting? With so many games played every day why don´t just stay away from those where there´s bells ringing all over the place?

                                Carib Rules
When wagering on tennis matchups both players must start the match for your wager to have action. If an in-progress tennis match is not completed because one player is disqualified, retires due to injury or for any other reason, then all wagers on that matchup will be refunded. If a player is unable to start his or her match, this is considered a walkover and for wagering purposes all bets on that matchup will be no actioned since both players did not start the match. If a tennis match that is in progress or has not yet started is postponed to the next day due to rain, bad light or any other reason, then all wagers on that match will remain active until the completion of the match.
