    My problem with BetUS
This is the complaint I just submitted to this site and would appreciate any other input from posters here:

Well I saw someone on Facebook saying they were tempted to make a deposit on BetUs early Super Bowl Sunday. He's a pretty smart guy so I thought this site was legitimate. So I make an account, make a deposit of 111$, accepting the 10 percent free play on the phone. So I have 122$ that I bet on the Packers beating the 3 point spread, and I win. I see that my account total is now $223. I already submitted a picture of the front and back of my CC, my license, and the required form. I go to request payout, and it says rollover condition is not satisfied. I have no idea what this means, and this is when it gets funny.

The person on the phone tells me that the site rejected the submission of my form because the signature did not match the signature on my ID. Then he tells me the conditions of the rollover, that I have to wager 3 times as much since I accepted the freeplay. I told him, I was never told about this condition. He forwards me to Brian, who handled my deposit on February 6th, 2011. Brian tells me he explained these conditions, and I disagree. He asks if I want to hear the recording, I say yes, and I'm put on hold for 10 minutes. He comes back and tells me there are a lot of recordings and he will call me when he gets the email with the recording. IN 2 DAYS. I will be calling back in two days and this is absolutely ridiculous. I am not going down without a fight. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yea, you have to meet your rollover (I didn't know the 'rollover' concept until I started reading these posts). Not sure if you'd win the fight though, his word against yours (remember, they have your $ now). How much do you have to bet to meet your rollover? Do a bunch of 'for sure' moneylines, you'll be set.

Yes it was a horrible decision in retrospect. I am new to online betting and I thought my friend on facebook's judgment was reliable.

But if he plays the recording, which I doubt, and there is no mention of the conditions of the freeplay, only if I will take it or not, how does he still have me by the balls?

I have to wager 220 more dollars or something like that to meet these bull shit roll over requirements.

Well if you're giving up you might as well bet the money...

Finish the rollover then withdraw your total balance, then move to another better site.

Could you tell me what kind of 'for sure' bets I can make? I'm still pretty new to this whole thing.

Bet some -300, -500 m/l bets. Those aren't 100% for sure winners, but relatively safe.

Pretty sure -300 and -500 favorites don't count for rollover at BetUS.

Use Live Odds on this site to check Pinnacle. Bet 5% of your balance on any line that BetUS is better than Pinnacle. You will meet rollover very quickly and more likely to come out with some profit than loss.

I'm glad I read this thread before depositing with BetUS. This "rollover" rule is complete BS. I can understand a rollover condition on bonus money, but not on your real money that is wagered.

Let's list off some legit sportsbook sites that can be used in the US and don't have a BS rollover rule.

Well, all of them don't have a "BS rollover rule" if you dont accept the bonus.

Also the bonus usually takes in consideration your real money. So, I dont think that list will take 2 lines.

If you request a payout, Betus will stall hoping you blow your wad. Very marginal book, IMO. I still have an account there but seldom use since it's so tough to get paid. They will pay but they drag it out. AND, they got me multiple times on the 'signature doesn't match' line. It only happens when you hit a bet and try to cash out. If you lose your deposit, your signature is ALWAYS A-OK.

I can't think of any books off the top of my head that doesn't have a rollover rule at all. Unless you don't accept the bonus offered and even then some books will make you wait a "waiting period time" before making a withdraw.

Rollover requirements ALWAYS take both your deposit AND the bonus into consideration when determining roll-over amount.

I.E. Say you are offered a 100% bonus with 12x rollover on a $250 deposit. This gives you $500 to play with but you must wager $6,000 in total action. Keep in mind, any transaction fees the book picks up will also figure into the rollover total. Sometimes if you take large ML favorites, the book wont count that. It's always safe to inquire first.

I've only seen holds on withdrawals on CC deposits and bank wires. If you send cash and don't take the bonus, your money is your money (even if you place one bet and win) and I've never had an issue in the 14+ years I've been wagering online when I've cashed out.

Remember, these guys don't like paying out anymore than any of us like losing.

Sorry but this is not quite correct, read the rules before you start making bets like this, some books dont allow betting on both sides for rollover, and some of them even cancel your wagers, I have done it myself and its not a great thing to do.

Try to find clear favorites and bet on them, the problem is that books uses a "range" of prices to see if the bet/win counts towards your roll over.

Roll Over, Bonuses are very common in ALL sportsbooks, so I recommend you to not take the "free money" if you want to cash out fast, do you really think that ppl are going to give you free money without a small letter? I dont think its your friends fault but its just something that happens and you werent aware of it, it happened to me to and to a friend who bet on Sneidjer to score in the last worldcup in bet365 he won around 3k and lost it all in the RO :P
