Why does Matchbook put up ridiculous props for the Super Bowl?
Many of the player props are absurd, and nowhere near the lines put up anywhere else.

Roethlisberger 23.5 Completions, Rodgers 26.5 completions, combined receiver receptions...the list goes on. Who came up with this nonsense? Yet they can't put up quarter lines?

Yeah, I find this weird as well. I am guessing that some market maker wants it this way because they feel people will not be able to handicap/price the props correctly. If they stuck to the normal props/totals, then it is very easy for the customers to line shop. That's the only reason I can think of.

They would get a lot more action if they put up the same props/totals as everyone else did. This one is a head scratcher

A lot of their props for the other playoff games matched what was available on most other books - I honestly havent looked at the ones for the Super Bowl yet. But not much that they do makes sense. Wouldnt surprise me to see some none .5 props
