Unlike Parlaymakers, their website is still up and running. Has anyone contacted them and gotten any sort of non-generic response.

#39are you trying to contact a government agency about an online gambling matter? i advice you don't do anything like that or you will lose more than the few dollars you had in your gold p a y account.Comment -

#40That's paranoid ridiculous. He's trying to find out some information that should be public--whether a government took action against a payment processor.Comment -

#41Agreed...Public info is simply that...but where can I look to find anything? Did GP really have legal problems with the US gov or is that made up to run off with funds...no communication from them in the last 6 weeks...even though I've emailed them simply asking if they will inform me when something happens.Comment -

#42lets say he calls a gov agency and ask "hello, i want to know if you took legal action against a company called g o l d pay". they will certainly ask him who he is and why is he asking that.Comment -

#43GP would not answer my requests for a withdrawal this week (and I had two requests). And right now, the entire GP site is down.
It appears they ran off with our money!!! I had less than $100 in it, but somebody needs to expose who is behind that operation. I want names!Comment -

#44If you do a whois on g o l d - p a y . com and parlaymakers.com, you will see they are hosted by the same company, "Hosting Panama".
200.106.146.98 <- GP
200.106.146.101 <- Parlaymakers
Doubt the web host would give out info, but thought you guys would find that interesting. Didn't Parlaymakers accept Mon**b**rs, though? Makes no sense.Comment -

#45This isn't making sense. GP was a payment processor AND a sportsbook? Then why would BetJamaica, Matchbook, 5 dimes and others have made you go through GP to make a ** deposit?
I can't keep up with the offshore crooks anymore.Comment -

"Chilidog" apparently was a Parlaymakers employee or exec who posted here thousdands of times. If they are involved with GP, which it appears they are, they have stolen customers' funds by not honoring withdrawals.
I'd like to know what is going to be done about this. Even BOS had to answer to some of this b.s.Comment -

In terms of your other question, a lot of us had a theory on Parlaymakers when Max009 (is that right?) started posting on here about it. We thought GP and Parlaymakers were the same company, and that Parlaymakers was just taking bets and immediately betting the same thing at Pinnacle. If they were, in fact, the same company, they would be taking a 2% cut (because of the GP fee) and have no risk. This theory was further bolstered when Parlaymakers had a policy where their customer would agree to a line, and then Parlaymakers would just give them whatever line Pinnacle had (even it had changed in the time it took the customer to confirm the bet) WITHOUT giving the customer the opportunity to cancel. Horrible. A bunch of us argued with Max about this in a thread, until they actually changed their policy. Then, I read that PM also took Mon**B**kers, which didn't go along with the Pinnacle pass through concept.Comment -

#51Funny... I was just doing some digging on these crooks.
So far from what Ive seen... info thats not necessarily public
Some more info that Ive found
- The actual offices for the company were in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
- Marketing Manager for GP was James Sinclair.... Now, i don't wanna start a big uproar with this guy, but there is a James Sinclair who runs the website http://jsmineset.com/ about gold.Comment -

#56I'm trying...
heres an email from the guy that i mentioned earlier:
Hey Brian,
They had a skype account so most likely I asked for an interview via skype IM (not voice) and whomever, sent me that email and name (Scott). I emailed the interview questions and the first one I generally ask is, "what is your name and your position with the company?" The questions returned and it was James that answered. I'm sorry I don't have more for you. I didn't have an account with them or follow any sportsbook. All of our interviews are conducted via email I'm in Portland, OR and I can't get to these places like Costa Rica or such to meet face to face. Generally we will give an initial interview with a DGC company like that one and try to learn more with follow up contact but occasionally we can't get anything else. Such is the case for another company at this time gBullion.com in case you are doing any biz with them. Once, a few years back, I tried to interview a gold company like this via email for the first time only to find out months later it was an FBI sting operation. So the first time emailing questions we don't always get a ton of info.
My notes indicate that I had requested a follow up interview from them in September 2010 and was to include them as part of an industry paper also at that time but there was no response via skype. Both the interview and the mention in the paper were dropped. I just found the questions that were never sent.
I ran a quick spot about them a month or two back on a blog which was a repeat of an article on the web I found, something about trouble with gambling payments and the US but there was nothing concrete.
I'll ask around. You can always reach me if I can do anything else for you.Comment
