Some American books have it also. You just have to check around.

Skybet do greyhound 'specials' on televised racing, though are quick to limit, any other U.K. or Aussie books will take bets on most races.

dont get involved in the dogs, total con!!! very very tricky to predict, worse than horses, also since betfair came on the scene and you can back dogs to lose, a bit of dodgy business has been happening.

LOL. Dog racing has been crooked for decades.

When my father was a teenager (in the late 1960's) he worked part time in the kennels. A very big breakfast was enough to stop the favourite from winning (at the trainer's request, of course).

When the prize money is so low for an average race, there should be no surprise that the average race has a 40%+ overround (based UK track bookie odds which are also used by online books).

yes but back then you couldnt win money if it lost, a trainer could give there dog a huge breakfast, log onto betfair and place a £1000 lay of the dog and they have won far more than the prize money, there is between £5000 and£50,000 matched on betfair , depending on what meeting it is.

i enjoy watching the dogs but not punting much unless its a dog like westmead hawk, people who bet on greyhounds on a regular basis are MUGS,

Really? You couldn't make money if you knew the favourite wasn't going to win?

Of course it is much easier with the advent of exchanges but my point was that the fixing of low grade greyhound races was common long before Betfair existed.
