Samvo verification problem & discrimination

Hi,

just opened a new acc at Samvo and I am just amazed by their verification process!
They refuse to accept a bank account statement as proof of address because I don't have any utility bill nor passport, just national ID with registered address printed on it!!
Never heard that a bank statment is not proof of address...or they hate people from Eastern Europe, so if you are from this part of the world just avoid Samvo as they have a bitter attitude!

It's very common, OP, that a utility bill other than a bank statement is requested. As you *could* get an international passport if you so chose, I'm not sure why this has anything to do with "discrimination." Their requirement applies regardless of nationality, and last time I checked, there was nowhere in Europe with a government so unstable that it would be impossible to get a passport.

and i doubt it a lot that people in UK for instance are required to send ID + passport + utility bill to acess full Samvo.

Noutility, I'm in the UK and would assume the same rules apply to me. Your implication about the higher % of scammers being from Eastern European countries is likely right, however. You just have to look at the number that come here complaining that they can't receive any post at all to their address when a book like Bet365 has sent out a verification letter. i heard they have good odds but i wouldn't put up with all this shit for little more at odds, if only i knew...
and if they are sick of EEuropeans just remove the 'unbelievable' 30 euro free bet for us. I don't even want it after all this, i requested my account closed and deposit sent back. will stick with Pinnacle, Lad, VC, etc.

samvo is licensed by alderney,
they are similar to other asian hp specialists (like sbo or 12b)
they have high limits (higher than 12b anyway)
quick payouts too
i never had an issue with them

ID card and bank statement always worked for me (including Samvo).
This year I opened an account in a poker site and same as you: it's not enough,
send us utility bill.
Might be a new policy.

well after I also sent print-screen of MB registered address and card/bank acc, my 'case' was forwarded to the verification team manager and Samvo came to its senses and 'approved' my documents...
unfortunatelly it was a very bad experience, no more Asian bookies for me, so much fuss for a 35 euro deposit!!
I also read here on forum that 188bet blocks accounts if you don't send documents in 48 hours or something...these Chinese are just too demanding...f---'em all

I had no problems with the verificating by sending ID card and bank statement. But I don't like their website. Automatic logout after about half an hour. The website is not as clearly designed as SBOBET is.

Had no problems with them. Registered a week ago and received the free bet. Odds are ok, but I'd rather stick to pinny and asians since they have even better odds.

I am European, so that's not the problem. When they wouldn't accept Europeans then they wouldn't give you the option to choose Europaen countries as your residence in the sign up form.
