DSI giving me the runaround about correcting a prop they graded wrong.

So, I made a bet on an entertainment prop at dsi last tuesday. Here is the post I made in the entertainment subforum about it:

SONY ERICSSON WILL DEBUT A PLAYSTATION PHONE +400
HP AND PALM WILL INTRODUCE A TABLET +350

I bet on the Motorola option. Well, the next night on the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show, Motorola held a press conference and unveiled their 10 inch tablet, the Xoom. Here's a news article confirming that...

"Motorola's got game, again," Morgan Stanley analyst Ehud Geldblum said when the Xoom made its debut on Wednesday.

The next day, Thursday, the HTC Thunderbolt phone was unveiled. Here is a news article confirming that:

Verizon announced several devices at its Thursday news conference, unveiling the HTC Thunderbolt, the LG Revolution, a Samsung 4G capable Galaxy Tablet and a Samsung 4G hotspot.

DSI graded the Thunderbolt as the winner. I've had several chat sessions and phone calls. I've shown proof that it was wrong. The response I've mostly received has been, "Can you call back later?". I was told in a chat session on Sunday that it would be fixed:

CS Charlie: they said to please check back in about 10 minutes Mr. *******.
xx******: Okay.... I will!
xx******: thanks for your help Charlie
xx******: I really appreciate it
CS Charlie: Now they know about it and they will fix it

Of course it wasn't fixed. I was told today that the grade they made was correct, that the Thunderbolt debut was indeed the first to happen. After objecting yet again, I was given the standard, "Can you call back tomorrow?"

I'm getting pretty annoyed. Apparently, this was graded similarly at Bookmaker.

Me neither.... just called and talked to that props manager. He told me that the Motorola debuted on the Friday, the 7th. I told him that was wrong and offered to send him links proving it. He declined and said he'll talk with his supervisor and check it again and give them an hour.

If you can't work it out, fill out a complaint. DSI is very good at working with SBR.

Just called again and talked to Pablo and he manually put the money back in my account. The bet is still showing up as a loser though, so if you made the same bet and lost you'll need to call and let them know.

an A book should not pull stunts like that

regrade the bet for everyone the correct way.

We did confirm with DSI management that all effected players are being credited with their wins.

Pablo regraded the prop, so all affected players are good to go.

That's why I hate betting entertainment props. There were good threads on the forum years ago where some book had a prop on what color the gatorade would be at the Super Bowl or BCS championship and it was obviously the classic yellow lemon-lime flavor, and the book said the gatorade was green.
