Why Bodog can never be an A+ book
For Bodog bettors who wanted to put a few bucks on Seattle ML today, it was not available. Not only that, you had to lay -125 at +11, so no real option if you liked Seattle. How can ANY reputable book refuse to offer a moneyline on an NFL playoff game? And their response will be something like "We're a recreational book...."

They almost never have moneylines when the spread is low, football and basketball.

Edit: Oops, surprised they didn't have Seattle...

        ^ or high

they don't have MLs on football when the spread is under +3 (-110) or when it's over a certain number (8? 9?)

Their stated threshold is 3-10, but they also say "It is subject to bookmaker decision" meaning they want virtually no risk. Books should not be in business if they aren't willing to assume at least some risk.

yeah, I'm stuck on Bodog. Dont feel like looking into deposit options for another site as I"m in the US. How the fuk can they not offer ML's even when the spread is three points? Unfukinreal. Only game offered this weekend is Baltimore/KC. It was the same for the regular season. Does the "recreational book" argument make sense? Why would a bookie's advantage go away when the spread is too low or too high? They book boxing matches with spreads of -2000 and worse - there's a -1400/+700 up right now. So why not Seattle at +450?

Don't get why they do that stuff either its crazy for such a decent book I use it a lot because I like that they offer poker and a book with easy to use website but the red outline of certain games that u can't Parlay or have no moneyline are unacceptable

I know it is little consolation but the Bodog Europe site is even worse.
Lack of betting options and very low limits from day one.

Probably not your best option for a "one stop shop" but a good book for getting some value on dogs in spots as well as a great variety of props just find the weak ones.

They profile players and give you worse odds on the plays you want to bet. But occasionally when they need money on one side, they will lower the price for you so you can help them.

They also don't allow me to log back on to my account without answer the security question correctly. No othe sites does that.

I agree Bodog is not A+ but that reason doesn't have much weight in it. Good book but not A+.
