Just received notification from my bank today 01/05/2011, that my withdrawal check for $600.24 from Sportsbook.com bounced, Returned for NSF. I would think twice before depositing your money if they can't even cover $600 dollars. Now I'm out $600 bucks plus the $150 in overdraft charges and fees.

#3I contacted them via email this morning but big surprise I haven't heard anything back yet. I will be calling them this evening but I'm sure I'll get the run around and will probably take weeks to get resolved, if ever.Comment -

#4Well I don't know how effective filing a complaint with SBR against sportsbook is, but it's worth a shot if things don't get settled.Comment -

#5Why dont you just call them and quit complaining. It probably bounced not cause they dont have the money but it would be because of the processor end side, thats why it bounced. I would suggest make a coppy of the bounced check if you can or bank statement and email it to them so they have it. They will cut you another check. But my next question would be why didnt you just have them wire or *** much more convient and faster???Comment -

#6The check bounced due to NSF not some processor BS they tell you to by themselves time. I had my bank call and verify. I have recieved checks in the past that went thru fine. Not to mention I was charged $150 by my bank for the returned check and overdraft fees which I will never see. To answer your last question, I would never give them my bank account info. You would have to be nuts. That gives them access. They could easily empty your bank account in a split second and then your screwed. Not that its not insured by the bank but your talking weeks or months before it is resolved. No thank you I'll take paper checks.Comment -

#8The processor probably got closed down or something. Its highly unlikely that Sportsbook.com didn't have $600 in cash to pay you.Comment -

#9Update: Someone called me from Sportsbook.com this morning and said they will reissue a new check to cover bounced check or send **. Plus they credited my sportsbook account the $150 for the overdraft charges. So far so good. Will update when I receive the money.Comment -

#14You must deposit the min its on the deposit menu, after you do that you will get the withdraw option in the menu. Wait i forgot that might not be right just call them and ask them how to do it cause you have to open the *** account first. And then deposit like $50 or something then it gets unlocked. Also remember i have never heard of any issues with this method not even once.Comment -

#15bouncing check is a serious thing, crediting you with the charges of 150 goes to show you that it was their "fault"Comment -

#18Not receiving withdraw
I have been a member of Sportsbook.com for years...I always lost money with them so really didn't make withdraws....towards the end of last year I hit a hot streak....I would cash out $750 - $2000 each week this was for about 3 weeks straight. Right before New Years, I withdrew $3200. They said it was processed and sent to the their processor on 12/29...Usually I receive my funds via fed wire within 48 hours...We are 1/12 and I still have not received my funds. They said there is an issue with their processor and that I should receive my funds tomorrow...they have said this 3 days in a row....now they are saying they will contact me in 24-48 hours to let me know what is going on.
I am starting to feel like I am not going to get my money. Hopefully this isn't true. Was hoping to use some of that money for next weeks playoff games.Comment -

#19This is why I avoid checks at all costs. I will only accept a check in rare circumstances and if I do I wait for it to clear before I move any funds from the deposit.Comment -

#22Sportsbook.com was doing real well with withdrawals last year especially the *** option. However lately they have been scaring me a little bit. I am a very large player and have been doing real well. last year they would process within a day and i would see funds in my bank account in 3 days after that. Now it is taking a week to process only after i complain and email them constantly. I tried another withdrawal last week and was told they are running 48 hrs behind normal. They are slow paying me for sure. They say its because of the government and not because they dont have the money. I always have gotten paid but sometimes they just take so long it makes it annoying.
