I requested a wire transfer payout for $29,000 early morning December 7. Getting a response from them has been like pulling teeth. They finally sent me a receipt yesterday in Spanish to bring to my bank. They said the transfer was sent on the 12th. I went to my bank with the information and they said they have no record of an incoming transfer on that day for that amount. I just got off live chat with a payout specialist and she emailed the processor and said that I can contact them later to see if they have responded. She refused to call the processor or give me the number to call directly. It's been over two weeks now waiting for this wire transfer, I don't think it's asking too much to stop emailing at this point and start making phone calls. This has dragged on long enough already. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to handle this.

#2Last Wednesday I was told that the processor initiated a wire trace. Today they tell me that the processor is still checking and there is nothing else they can do. I'm no expert on banking, but a wire transfer trace should not take this long.Comment -

#7I spoke with payouts again today via live chat. Here's the transcript.
Payout Specialist: Welcome, nice to have you with us today . . . I’m happy to assist you . . .
Me: Hi, I want to know where my payout is. I've been waiting over a week now for your processor to do a wire trace. Please don't tell me that they are still checking because it does not take over a week to trace a wire transfer. I've been waiting on my payout for over three weeks and I would like an answer now.
Payout Specialist: For security reasons, can you please confirm your password?
Me: xxxx
Payout Specialist: Thank you please hold
Payout Specialist: Thank you for holding, las update was on the 27th, the processor told us that they havent received the wire returned.. I've just send them another email... Unfortunately we need to wait for them
Payout Specialist: As soon as they give us a response we'll be contacting you
Payout Specialist: Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Me: yes., I would like a phone number where I can get in touch with the processor
Me: it sounds like they are not doing a wire trace at all, but that they are just waiting for it to be returned to them
Payout Specialist: We dont have that information available
Payout Specialist: Yes they are
Payout Specialist: but it takes time
Me: so how do you contact them?
Payout Specialist: via email
Me: It only takes a matter of hours to do a wire trace
Me: not days or weeks
Me: another payout specialist told me that she called them
Payout Specialist: Sir, at this moment we are depending on their response
Me: very well, if you don't have their phone number I would appreciate their email address
Payout Specialist: We are doing everything possible
Payout Specialist: Sir, we are not allowed to give that information to the customers.. We have to deal with them and as soon as they respond us we'll be contacting you
Me: then I would like the number for the person in charge of payouts. Surely you can give me that?
Payout Specialist: Sure
Me: This has dragged on too long. I've been patient, but I'm tired of not getting any answers
Payout Specialist: Our phone number is xxxxxxxxxxxx, my supervisor's name is xxxxx
Me: Thank you.
I will update again after I speak with the supervisor.Comment -

#8Well, I spoke with the supervisor and he wasn't very helpful either. He basically gave me the same answers as everyone else which is none. He said they are waiting for the processor and that the money hasn't been returned to them. He said that I will get my money it will just be a while. I told him it's already been a while, I would like to get this cleared up asap and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to do that within a few days. Whether that means getting the money into my bank account or back into my sportsbook account I don't care, I just don't want it lost in space. There's no reason the processor can't get on the phone with the bank and find out today where the money is. He suggested that I email them a copy of my bank statement showing that I have not received the money yet so they can show that to their processor. I really don't like sending my personal financial information, and it should not be necessary, but I am going to go ahead and email it to them anyways if it will make them do something.Comment -

#10I'm glad you are updating this thread and I am following along as events unfold.
I don't mean to come off as an apologist for the book in this situation, but I would like to mention that it doesn't surprise me to read your report of an international bank wire that goes missing at this time of the year. All it takes is one careless typo and a bank employee will accidentally send a wire into outer space. The problem is compounded when you consider the 3 holidays and who knows, maybe particular employees are spending their vacation days out of the office for ten days at a time. In the meantime, voice mails go unheard, mail piles up and your payout continues to orbit the planet Neptune.Comment -

#14withdrawing a large amount always get you runaround or delay your payout. next e, you'd better make mutiple payout instead of one large amount at a time..Comment -

#15Now I'm praying San Francisco and The Giants lose today, or I am really going to be depressed. I had some parlays I was going to use this money on. If the Patriots Jets and Steelers don't blow it and those two teams cover this slow payout will have cost me around 200k dollars. If only the 9ers cover it will have cost me 15k or if only the Giants cover I will have missed out on 45k. As long as the Giants lose it's not so bad, but if they win by 4 I'm going to be pissed. God help me if they both cover.Comment -

#20Now one of two things will happen, either I'll never work up the guts to throw that kind of money at some parlays again, or I'll chase and throw it at the wrong parlays.

#23About 28 days from the first wire request until it finally hit your account.
By any measure (even considering the holidays), that is a LONG time for a wire.
Good to see this finally get paid.
Cobracommander showed a lot of patience and professionalism in this thread -- having a 29k payout go missing for a month and what seems to be less than stellar communication from the book would make many players rage.
question for cobracommander: will this payout experience affect your decisions to continue playing with this book?Comment -

I got my money eventually, that's the most important thing, so I will continue to use this book. I may use it less though and not recommend it as highly.Comment
