What is a correlated parlay???

Can someone help me. I have no idea what this is. Will I not get paid if I do this? I was considering a bunch of $10 moneyline parlays, in hopes of getting the right combination, and winning like 9K. Almost like a lottery. Is this forbidden. I deal with The Greek. Help anyone???

Any 2 or more bets dependent on the same event technically. IE browns +11 and under 38 in the same game.

Only an issue when the degree of correlation is high, big underdog and under on a low total. Books should have built in bloocks.
