New to Bodog, already hate it.

They have Pats - 4, want them at -3 however I dont see any option to buy points?

    Yes, you can buy points.

Click the link of the pick, and on the next screen, it gives a drop down.

However, other books are offering better odds on NE.

Never knew that...I thought you couldn't buy points on single games there, and that's why I left.

You're right. They're not selling points on this game.

I think maybe they only sell points closer to gametime?

I know they do sell points because I've seen the option a bunch of times.

          EDIT: Here's what they say

You can "buy points" on NFL, NCAA football, NBA or NCAA basketball point spreads. When you do, you move the point spread by half a point so that you give away less points with the favorite or get more points with the underdog. In the NFL and NCAA football, the cost of buying half a point depends on the point you are buying onto (i.e., 3, 7 or other) and whether the odds are standard (-110) or off-standard (e.g., -120). There is no such premium in the NBA or NCAA basketball.

Please note that you can buy half a point onto a flat number only (e.g., from +4.5 to +5 or from -4.5 to -4).
          How to Buy Points

Once you’ve selected the point spread(s) you want to bet on and clicked the button on the Bet Bar for the type of wager you want to make, you are automatically given the option to buy points whenever you have selected an eligible point spread.
Under the details of the bet on which you want to buy points, select Buy 1/2 point. The point spread and odds are automatically recalculated for you.
So they only sell a half point, not more for some reason.

On teasers you can buy a half point or a full point.

Thanks for looking into this. Wow, so you can only buy a half point on a spread that is a number and a half. That is ridiculous.

I wish i could transfer my money out of here for tonight's game. Im just gonna withdraw.

What a terrible book. My lord.

              Pretty silly of them, IMO.

              Selling points is highly profitable.

Bodog is ONLY a good book for people who largely play underdogs. They over-favor the favorites you can get great value as a underdog better at Bodog.

Perfect example, tonight every top book has Pats - 3 or 3.5, Bodog has it at -4.

Yep. It, like SIA, is a square book.

If you're playing favorites, you're better off looking elsewhere.
