    Withdrawl information?
I used to bet with Bodog before the internet gambling bill and for a little bit after, I withdrew a few times and never had any problems, they sent me a check, never had to provide any information like a credit card bill, drivers license or copy of credit card. I have been looking to get back into the game and notice a lot of sites ask for the previous mentioned information when making a withdrawl, or first withdrawl.

Is that normal for all sites?

I know a few people who have used sportsinteraction.com for a few years and never had any problems, but I see on here they are rated a D.

Sportsinteraction wants all kinds of IDs, bank statements, utility bills from what I gather now in order to withdraw. I'll pass on using them anymore.

That is a normal business practice these days if you use a credit card to make a deposit into a book. The problem these days isn't sending in your info before withdrawing at all, but rather trying to find a upper tier type book that can process them.

BBD: SIA requested all that from me long time before I ever tried to withdraw. At withdraw time I was happy that was all done.

Simply put, processing is not the same as it was even 2 years ago for the books, nor for you. Books are forced to get documentation from you on the way in if you're using CC's or Echecks, not after winning like some were able to endure in the past.

The processors themselves are under a microscope and looking over their shoulders so they now insist the books get documentation on the way in and implement extra fraud scrubbing techniques, etc. Or they simply won't do business with the book.

The fact is CC and check fraud kills processors. You'll note once you've been with a book a certain length of time they will usually lighten up on you as they now have a relationship they trust. That's 'cause It's really the new players and shot takers the books and processors have to worry about.

Chargebacks, disputed charges, etc. effect the processor as well as every other book using that processor, so everyone is getting screwed either directly or indirectly.

I've seen people post here asking for moral support while they attempted to rationalize charging back on their losing deposit for one frivilous reason or another. "Well they're a shit book anyway" or "They deceived me so F 'em.". etc.

My rant comes full circle as I stress to you all that if one company gets hrut with CC or Check problems EVERY company using them gets hit as well.

Processing is becoming a luxury item and to take the enhanced security measures in stride and comply. If I use my CC or write a check at the liquor store they ask me for ID before I walk out of the store before they accept my purchase. Why shouldn't a spotrtsbook protect themselves similarly?
