US Player - this is frustrating
I'm a US player and I have been trying to deposit with credit card into bookmaker and other sites for the past few hours. I keep getting declined and what's worst is my bank calls me about the transactions. I then tried westernunion online and when I was about to complete my transaction, the CS told me my phone number didn't match what their 3rd party source had...

This is real frustrating, can someone offer some guidance? Points and $$$ offered seriously.

    What card are you using?

I use Bookmaker and noticed that they wouldn't take my VC prepaid. Something about not being allowed to make international transactions on it. Find out from your bank if you're allowed to make international transactions on your card.

Other than that, I have a VC Gold card also, and that has always worked for Bookmaker.

** didn't approve my transaction because when they requested my phone number, it didn't match what their 3rd party source had on file. doesn't make sense to me at all.

VC/** give gambling companies the "dreaded" 7995 code, identifying them as gambling companies, which cause the banks processing the charge to decline it when this code is matched in their VC/** database. FYI.

You are probably trying to avoid doing this, but what about going into a local ** in person and trying to make the transfer? Otherwise, email Bookmaker your dilemma and ask what they recommend. Good luck.

                          Sorry, fell asleep last night.

As for the application process for a credit card, honestly, I have no idea.

I don't think OP's problem is that it's flagged as a gambling site. I really think it's the international transaction problem.

At this point I'd do ** in person. Yes it's a pain but if you deposit 300 or more, they waive the fee.

Also, Bookmaker's cs while seemingly completely unemotional and detached is actually pretty decent so they'll be able to run you quickly through all your options.

This same exact problem occurred with ** here. The work around and choices are rather simple.

                            1. Use cash and send in person. (I am assuming you don't want to go in person so proceed to #2.)
                            2. Use ** online. You will have to go through a verification process over the phone but it is not nearly as picky with the reverse lookup crap as **.
                            3. Find a book that takes *** (betonline and a few others I think) and most CC's work there.. this is like a crude version of neteller but gets the job done.
                            4. instant deposit/Wire (costly and takes a few days) but can't be blocked.
                            5. Try g0ld- pay. Lot's of sites use them and of course they have a different CC processor and funding methods.
                            6. Try the ********** gift card. They typically have had the best luck in the past at getting approved.

Last but not least... Settle for using a book that is not in the B and A range. These books typically use riskier processors that change frequently which means the approval chances can be 90%+ SBG Global has never declined me. Sportsbook.com etc. Obviously the risk goes up significantly using these books so I would not recommend it. But if all else fails and you want to try a hundred bucks this always works.. keep in mind you will obviously have to scan a copy of your CC/DL etc. So best bet.. cash in person or ** online...

Long post but that should answer your questions in this climate.
