Anyone ever get a check drawn on a CR bank?

Total pain in the ass.

Banks here won't cash it, want to "send it out for collection". Not only a $30 minimum charge, I have to wait up to 3 months for it to clear......

Wow, I hope that their bank never finds out that they're paying out gambling funds; that's not allowed in CR.

On the flipside, depositing a US check into a CR bank takes about 3 weeks to clear. Sucks.

Yes I have. My bank clears all my checks instantly so it wasn't an issue. The odd part was that the book wasn't even located in Costa Rica.

Interesting Durito, my bank up here is being a montumental pain of late in general....
