    Cris Busto?
I've been hearing some rumors about the Cris being in bad shape. Any substance? I personally have them stiffing me out a small sum that is still unresolved, but I'm hearing about slow pays and some other stuff. Share your rumors?

Note: If a mod could put a question mark on the title for me, that would be great. This is a question, not a statement.

I have not heard anything like this, they just have horrible customer support but are secure financially.

I thought that matter you had with Cris was resolved Thremp.

As far those rumors you speak of... I haven't heard any rumors of that type of nature at all.

        BBD,

Not at all. There was some miscommunication between Bill Dozer and I. They are continually refusing to respond to my e-mails. I cannot get any word from anyone in acct about anything.

I ask this since two people I actually respect sent me messages asking "You think Cris is busto?"

Besides the outrageous fees(outright stealing in some cases) and horrible people skills in upper management, they are doing just fine. I would say Cigar is one of the wealthiest man in the industry.

If they didn't go broke when their software had more holes than Rosanna Arquette in Pulp Fiction, I can't imagine it happening now.

I once spent half an hour listening to a manager convince me that France winning the World Cup and France winning in regulation weren't correlated...IN THE FINAL MATCH.

In that interview SBR did with them before the Super Bowl, they claimed their business had increased substantially this past year.

I find that exceptionally hard to believe, even if they did get a boost with pinnacle leaving the US market.

I'd have to agree. Unless they've really stepped up in the marketing department, which some people do complain about all the cold calls. Their sister book DSI has called twice in the past two weeks.

I can't speak to the question of their status (Though they seem quite solid), but one thing I can say with complete certainty is that their payouts have begun to take longer, as least with my experience. Used to be that my Moneybookers request would be processed within an hour or so (A few hours at most). Then it became the better part of a day. The latest withdrawal (Yesterday) is still pending going on a day and a half, which is a first in my experience with BetCris.

While this is not a big deal at all when compared to the vast majority of other sportbooks, it is nonetheless a recent negative trend.

*Late addendum.....As it turns out, payment recieved about 10 minutes after I wrote this.....

I have received payouts via Moneybookers in as little as a couple of hours. Larger payouts (up to $8k so far) seem to take longer, but have rarely spilt over to the next day.

Figured I'd update for any "Cris-watchers" out there......

$2,500 Moneybookers requested today and recieved it in 90 minutes. So after a period of time where payouts seemed to be taking longer, this was one of the quickest in recent memory, probably the fastest payout of the new year.

Yes, I heard of a payout today that was <2 hours from submit to received.

So it seems that they're taking the approach of telling customers doom and gloom, while providing excellent service. Above customer was told it could take 7-9 biz days for the payout. lolz?

CRIS is still at the top. They could buy all of the other books at the top of this forum and then cash out player balances.

I showed my faith in them by re upping at bookmaker for 2K today and got 20 NCAA bracket entries ($10 each) and a 25% free play bonus. Now to use the free play to hit some NBA parlays like I do in LT's contest.

Yes. I'm pretty sure the fees were from intermediary banks. But Cris takes money out for fees, so I'm not sure why they weren't processed properly. When they made the adjustment to my account the note was "currency conversion". I'm fortunate enough to have to request another and will report if they are continuing to make this error or if it has been rectified.

Also, I thought Cris had an excellent financial position, and perhaps I just hear the same rumors traveling through the same circles. But I wanted to emphasize that this was a rumor that I wanted to verify/substantiate and I really had no clue if there were issues that were happening (slower payouts/bounced checks etc etc).
