BetUS scam, getting the run around.
In June of this year I made a $1000 credit card deposit to BetUs.com. I placed a couple bets in June, let the money sit, then a couple more in August. My account balance is about $1850. I called to ask about a withdrawal and they told me I had to send in a bunch of credit card verification forms. Once the forms were in order, they said I am still not eligible for withdrawal, and I accepted some terms of conditions that I was going to gamble a total of $6500, something to do with a freeroll. I have never used any freeroll, and did not elect to enroll in any kind of free bonus. I only had any intention of putting money in the account, betting with it, and withdrawing if I were to win my bets.

Now they are just giving me the run around completely, not letting me talk to supervisor, and telling me they will give me a call back. Its been a couple days so far, but I just have a gut feeling they are never going to grant me a payout.

Any suggestions? I think I can maybe still dispute the original $1000 with my credit card.

    Chris

PS: The joke about the $6500 total action anyway, is that I know if I were to continue to wager, and have a winning balance, they would not pay me out. I feel like it would be a waste of my time to even bother with that.

    Phil,

Did you get a bonus when you deposited? It sounds like they are just trying to get you to meet rollover.

They will just find some other BS reason to take the balance eventually.

Most people sign up there for there big bonuses with high rollover requirements, if you did not receive any bonus you should be good to withdraw.

It also seems to me like you have to complete the rollover. They will always give you some kind of bonus, unless you specifically ask them not to.

They are rated C for a reason tho'

You will not have much success disputing the charges at this point if you already sent over the credit card auth form, copy of the card, etc. They ask for this documentation specifically to fight chargebacks. Follow up with Justin7, he'll get to the bottom of it for you.

I only like talking to BoDog people, for some reason.

E-mail, live chat, or file a complaint. I don't play around on the telephone.

Anyway: If you stick with top-rated services, that will cure about 99% of your headaches and heartaches.

EDIT: Complete rollover, or have SBR (Justin7) work out a reasonable compromise as to how much you will give up to not have to complete any rollover.

I have had good luck with them over the past 3 years...They do have strict rollover requirements and do require all kinds of paperwork before a cashout, but I have made withdrawals several times with no major issues.

I have seen a few people dispute the charges and get them reversed which just makes the process harder for everybody else.
