What happens to a wager when a game gets canceled?

Tonight's magic/knicks game got canceled.

What happens to my wager that i put on that? does it just get put "on hold" until the game is rescheduled? or does it get canceled?

I would call my sportbook about it, but i'm at work and can't use the phone for a little while.

The bet gets refunded. It's as if you never made the bet at all.

cancelled and postponed are different things and at some books the rules vary (and may also vary between sports) - best to check at the book where you have bet

yes, just as Hareeba! said, each bookie has different rules. If the game is cancelled then you definetily get refunded but it varies when the game is postponed or rescheduled.

it will be refunded , however is game is rescheduled to occur within 24 hours of original game time play is still valid at some books I know of.
