beware when recieving check

was supposed to receive a check for 3000 from an A book. actual amount was 300. they apologized and are sending me another one for 2700. but this was not so easy to catch. didnt realize until after i deposited check, just assumed it was 3000

of course i looked. i was expecting 3000 and when you are expecting 3000, 300 can look very similar. i gave it to the teller and he put it in. i only noticed when i checked my account later, thought the teller screwed it up at first
