Your wager # 190470914 has been cancelled as our Book Managers have informed us that this wager was placed after public knowledge. As these wagers were placed past post we must settle these wagers as no action.

The general sports betting rules in our help section do state that, "Wagers will be accepted up to the starting time of the sporting event." Through a simple oversight this line was left up beyond the start of the event, however this rule does still apply. The funds you had risked are, of course, available in your account once again. Please note, future Past Post wagers may result in a reduced limit when wagering on Bodog Live.

If you would like to discuss this, or if you have any concerns about your account at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-888-263-0000, extension 2.

      Bodog is very special.

When they were pissed at me for beating their silly prop lines, they cut me back.

Well and good, but their reason for cutting me back was special.

"You are playing steam" they said. Only Bodoggie could think they got steamed on props!

Agreed with the posters above. Although I will say maybe BoDog regretted giving such high live MLB lines to Giants? Or maybe lots of ppl pounded Giants? I hope OP gets a better response.

I have seen this complaint on SBR and RX and I've asked for the player's account number so I can speak with a senior CS manager and get the facts. Please give me some time as well.

Why does he need to go through you to get the facts? Maybe it should be BBS(Bodog Becky Service) rather than Customer Service. The player should not have to go through a Bodog affiliate on a sports betting forum to get their questions answered.

Are the inplay lines up ony in between innings? Maybe they were late pulling it down.

When was the wager voided, after game?

My thoughts exactly, sometimes they leave the live lines up a little to long and it gets voided. It's not a perfect system by any means as I assume they must have someone manually putting up and taking down lines.

I'm trying to make sense of the timing of the bet. Is it safe to assume this was 8:42 ET? This was right around the middle of the 3rd/before any significant action in the bottom of the 3rd (Texas still up 2-0, no one on base). 8:56 ET was while SF was threatening in the bottom of the 3rd, right around the time Sanchez doubled to make it a 2-1 game.

While I can't say with certainty whether this was before or after the inning started, the fact it took 15 minutes before it got canceled, kind of makes bodog look like the angle shooters. Also, Giants +150 is a pretty terrible line at that point, so I don't see how this was in any way an angle shoot by the bettor...

This was not the game last night ... it was on 10/23 against the Phillies. It was at 10:42 eastern time, before the bottom of the 7th began and the game was 2-2. So the Phillies had 3 AB's remaining compared to the Giants 2. Road team; in a tie game; against the NL's best regular season team; AND being disadvantaged in remaining AB's ... +150 does not seem like a bad line to me.

And in all honesty, I was watching football mainly that night and just took a stab at it because I initially liked San Fran to win the game but didn't play it. The thought that it may be a bad line never even crossed my mind - and Bodog has never led me to believe that they thought I took advantage of a bad line - but then again they have not told me much of anything.

My mistake, I did not look at the date. 10/23 at 10:42 ET corresponds with just around as you said, and it's definitely not a bad line. The bottom of the 7th started right around 10:42 ET, and there was 0 advantage gained by your bet. Uribe hit the go ahead homerun at 10:55, before the bet was cancelled (10:56).

Hope this helps in your appeal...

Yep, live betting is like horse betting that way. No real "start times" just times they start. Let's see what the facts say.
