Same problem as everyone else. I contacted live chat and they didn't know what I was talking about. It is especially annoying for live wagering.

i emailed them this thread last night, got a response this morning that the site is working perfectly. it still logs me off after 2 minutes. im dumbfounded.

I just got off the phone with Rommel and he seems to think it is fixed. So lets hope so. Between getting logged off every couple of minutes and not being able to get online on the weekends with in an hour of game time has been bad these past few weeks.

I really hope they have it fixed. With all the negatives that 5dimes gets on SBR, it is still probably the best place to play online.

I did in-play wagering on 5 Dimes from the first inning until the 8th, and it didn't log me out, even when I went over 5 minutes of not refreshing.

So it looks to me like they fixed something.

It seems they have rectified this egregious error, at last. 5Dimes is a great book in certain respects, but customer service at times can be iffy. My main gripe regarding this particular issue was that they kept trying to blame me, the client. They said "check with your ISP" and even had the gall to accuse me of using an IP Hiding Software. I was dumbfounded as to the surreality of such a proposition. I also called them about 5 times regarding this issue and was told 5 different things. One guy said that this was a new parameter that they had installed across the entire client base. 2 minutes of being logged in and the system automatically boots you, he told me. I attempted in vain to explain to him the utter inanity of such a parameter being implemented by a Sportsbook, which by its very nature, thrives on betting activity. What is the logic in keeping the players only logged in for 120 seconds? How the F can you even look up a line and place a bet within that paltry time span. Of course, this sound logic was refuted by the utter ignorance of the CSR.

I'm glad they finally fixed the issue, but nowhere along the line did they even concede that there was a problem. "There's no issue", "It's normal", "It's a new parameter being implemented, "Try a different browser", "Check with your ISP", "You're using an IP Hider!". Very disappointing to say the least...

That's BS. I still had this issue over the weekend and right now, both 5dimes.com and sportbet.com will not allow you to log-in. They're falling pretty far down on my list with this crap.
