You guys had some offers that were still out there when the site came back up? Surprised matchbook didn't cancel all of those offers. I made some bets as soon as the site came back online and then it became suspended now. Hoping those bets will stand that were made while the site was up there

Did you get over 45 -500? I saw that and just didn't realize how good it was immediately..wasn't sure what the score was... and then it was gone quickly.
Wonder if that will be canceled. Not really fair for bets that were up when they went down to stand if someone nabbed them as soon as they came back up. I don't understand why they didn't suspend markets or cancel all open offers before they came back up.

Nah didn't get that one I just bet on the Giants +3.5 and the Giants ML both at reasonable odds, nothing crazy. Shortly after that though the market suspended came up and its been all giants since.The bets are show as current bets so I am guessing they will stand but still it's not a good feeling not knowing what is happening here

i have no dog in this fight, but any offer put up before the site went down needs to be cancelled BEFORE the site gos back up. if i put up an offer and had it accepted after the downage, i would be pissed.

It doesn't happen very often. There was a period a year ago where they were having some site problems for a bit but it seemed to be working fine lately.
I agree that all open offers should be cancelled when the book goes offline but any offers that were matched before the site goes down or while the site has been up after that should still stand

once a bet is confirmed that's it-it's a bet-the exception is if the game is cancelled for some reason--you can't cancell bets that were made an hour ago-and maybe matched somewhere else

The first rule in live betting is that every trade can be your last. You have to be prepared to live with the trade you made until the end of the game at all times.

As far as those orders that were left up when Matchbook came back online, all of those trades will be canceled.[/color]
