    Sending ID/Bill
I have seen a few posts on this but was hoping someone could help with some more info. I have seen some people saying that have never been asked to send any info to BetJamaica or The Greek and have withdrawn without a problem. I have seen others say that even with NON credit card deposits they still were asked for this.

Is there any way around sending them my ID and Utility bill or is this required now. They told me they require it regardless of how I deposit.

Don't really like to send personal info like that to ANYONE. Should I be concerned at all about doing this? They also said I can't black out any info. Why should they need my drivers license # and to see what I look like. I understand if they want to be able to verify the address but it seems odd that they want the whole license and the # any everything. I didnt ask them about this but I am definitely not sending a utility bill to them without blacking out my account #.

I have read that both Greek and BetJamaica are very reputable but the sending of all that info to someone I dont know in another country is a concern.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

The rule came in at a certain point; if you were in before that and established then they're likely not chasing your info unless you change payment methods or similar; if you're new you'll likely have to go through the KYC procedures.

You shouldn't worry. You can black out your DL #, utility bill account #, whatever you're concerned about, just as long as they can see your name and address... which you're already giving them of course.

I wouldn't hesitate to send the Greek that information at all. Not sure if I did years ago or not with them, but if they asked today I would.

It seems like a lot of people would not have a utility bill in their name. Any way around this?

It's all standard and nothing to worry about, as mentioned you can black out the part of your bill that shows your balance, transactions etc for privacy but don't black out any of your ID because they need to see it clearly to make sure it's not fake. The reason some people don't have to send docs is because they passed the standard security procedures, that does not mean you have failed because of anything wrong with you but they just couldn't confirm your details, often because you may not have not lived at the same address for a long tiime or because of the bank your with or many other minor things. Don't sweat it.

What's the worst they can do with a utility bill with your water company ID number? I've sent this info to tons of books...well, at least a handful of books. Never have been worried really... I mean, if they want to pay my water bill, I guess they could do that........

What are they going to call the company and try to get them to shut my water off if I'm winning too much??

I can see it now "Hello, this is the water company."
"'el'lo mon, dis is Crim-sun callin from Jamaica-er- America. I'd like to 'ave dem shoot me wata bill off"

But every part of my logical mind is saying that at least 10, prob more like 30, percent of those on this site do not have the water or electric bill in their name...Has anyone ever rented at a place where utilities are included?

I had that situation in the past, and they always accepted a cell phone bill or similar. That may not be the case with US customers, I'm not sure.

A lot of the books nowadays use the whole id/utility bill as more of a stall tactic......
