can someone help me with a check from SIA

They mailed me a check in mid december. I took it to my bank to cash and they couldn't. I have bank of America. Then I took it to a check cashing place and they could not cash it either. That was ACE. So now what?

I talked to their "live help" and was informed that he would sent it to accounts and accounts would email me. Well, first I was told to call the number on the check. I always get a machine telling me to call during normal business hours between 9 and 6 eastern time. Ummm..I always call between 9 and 6 eastern time. Here it is one month and a half later and I still have a check which I cannot cash.

Can someone on the site or one of the mods clue me in on how to speed up this process? Or clue me in on a bank in the USA that can cash a Canadian check.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have sinced switched to WSEX but would definitely throw something back into SIA just on principle if this got taken care of swiftly

The only thing I can think of is it's one of those "international collections" type checks like Matchbook was using.

Did you me cashing out only? You might try depositing it 1st and not ask for any cashback, BOA usually take 2 weeks to clear sportsbook checks nowadays.
