Please downgrade Bookmaker (A+) for unnecessary phone spam.
Anyone else receiving 3-4 calls everyday from 786-522-1058 aka Bookmaker?

I've been getting them for 2 months straight and I just spoke to customer support to get my number off of the call list. Hopefully I never have to see their number appear on my phone again. I already get their email promos and I don't need someone begging me to deposit for a bonus multiple times a day .

And FYI I'm not the only one getting these calls, lots of people from other message boards are also reporting the same thing .

Thats a shame. You should talk dirty to the broad when she answers pal. Easy 1/2 point at least.

786-522-1058 is bookmaker? That number calls my house twice a day. The wife was asking me the other day who the hell that was, and if she should pick up. We just thought it was the bill collector for the time I ordered a trial pack of stay awake pills from a late night infomercial that charged my credit card 3 times and would't refund the charges. Thanks for solving the mystery.

I don't understand why they would do this, are the desperate for customers all of a sudden? This doesn't make much sense from them to do such a thing.

i am curious about what sbr's take is on this though. the ties between sbr and the bookmaker-group have always been tight, and bookmaker has an excellent rating here. yet these posts about cold calling, obviously very annoying to customers, keep popping up every month and are obviously common practice, not isolated incidents.

does sbr think cold calling is not something serious enough to warrant a downgrade, or is sbr just not aware of this problem?

They have been calling me for like 3 or 4 months. The calls are getting to be less frequent, possibly because I never answer them. When I use to answer them, it was always a guy who I could barely understand. A guy who could barely speak English. I was always nice to them and explained that just wasn't in need of depositing at the moment.

i gave them wrong number on purpose. I always do that with sportsbooks. I change one number on my number so i can remember what I gave them if they ever ask. Also a lot of phone services will let you block certain numbers. I think its * then something then put the number in that is calling u.

I was talking about this earlier but was ignored by SBR. look up the number of google. They are doing this to alot of people. I had to go to the OSGA who contacted them and finally got them to stop calling me over and over. Even if they promise to stop calling I assure you they will not. It is a shame SBR takes so much money from diamond/cris/bookmaker and continues to allow them to run all over people. A disgrace really and the only thing I have ever had against SBR.

Yes this was brought this up a fews ago and no one really answered from SBR. I kept waiting to see if they would respond but nothing. I am very curious as to why this gets passed over. Here is the other topic.

They called me in july and august but once football season began it stopped. As a general rule I screen calls with voice mail. This most likely discouraged them. The e-mails I don't mind, the phone calls are annoying.

I was getting those calls every day for several weeks until Jan. 15. Answered it once and didn't hear anything on the other end of the line. Figured it was some sort of computerized telemarketer so I never answered again. Checked the area code - Florida - fraud capital of USA. Didn't know it was from Crookmaker until today. Bastards used to send me text messages that cost me extra on my cell phone bill.

                                  Hmmm.

Bookmaker has both my number and email.

The phone number I gave them is voice mail, and they've never left a message.

I think I may have received only two, three email from them over the past six months.

Just pretend that you are very interested in their sportsbook because you are super pissed off at your current book and you are now suspicious of all sportsbooks.Tell them that to renew your faith in online sportsbooks and for them to gain your confidence, you want them to give you an unconditional free $25 bet so you can give them a test drive.Take the $25 and make a 4 team parlay that would pay $500 and if you win, tell them you will deposit a few grand when you get paid.If you get paid, never make a deposit.

Too bad I already have an "account" with Bookmaker. It's my Betmaker one. I know they just merged with Bookmaker, but I've been receiving these calls way before their merge.

Marketing can be an ugly part of this business, especially these days because of fewer advertising avenues and the more frequently used third party sales centers. As a player you want your book to continue to grow but I am never happy when I get a call after already telling the caller no.

If anyone can pm or email me their account number we can use it as an example to address this.

If they want a marketing plan that will yield better results than all the crazy phone calling, I will suggest this:

stop all the unreasonable exorbitant fees associated with withdrawals and transfers.

You have a great product--stop gouging your customers and they will refer others to you.

                                            What a novel idea.

hahaha, no more than 10 minutes ago I got a call from them at 9pm. I didn't know it was them until now. I signed up for an account there a few days ago but my credit card wouldn't work and the wwwcard they suggested and I signed up for wouldn't work so I ended up depositing at betjamaica. I did get a full refund on the wwwcard, I didn't think I'd get the $4 back but I did which is cool. I've gotten calls from that number before asking me if I wanted help depositing. The guy was nice and I could understand him well but I doubt its a good sign if they need deposits bad enough to keep calling you. Then again maybe its just marketing and them trying to offer good customer service. Either way, it was easier to deposit at betjm and they're the ones with my money, well I'm actually up so I guess I have there money.

They call me about once every couple months. Every time I kinda listen to their sales pitch and then tell them to please take me off their calling list. It only works for a couple months at a time. I always end up back on their list, somehow.

They always call for deposits. Never give a CRIS book your real number and you will not have to deal with this

You know the scary thing is the first time I told them to take me off the list, Betmaker told me that another company had stolen their customer contacts list and used it to spam people. Guess who that other " company " was? Bookmaker.

They should be downgraded for insisting on a 30 cent line for SB coin flip props.
