Just wanted to put out a bit of information about BetEd. Got offered a reload of $400 on a $1k deposit for the start of the NFL season. Was a net loser at the book already if that matters.
Stuck in the $1,000, received the bonus, started betting. Rollover was $9,800. Got through just under 50% of it betting predominantly MLB lines spread over a few days, placing $500 on each (major mistake). Logged in one evening to find a message saying that my account was now limited to $1 wagers. Wasn't hitting their out of line odds, so was only the bet sizes that triggered this (I think).
Ended up with them telling me they had a procedure for this (suggesting that limiting mid-roll is quite common for them - why offer bonuses then?) which resulted in winnings being removed along with the whole bonus. They paid back my remaining balance, and I decided to get in touch with SBR. Justin helped me out on this, and the result was that BetEd admitted they were wrong in removing the winnings and the whole bonus. When I initially asked them to re-credit, they said no, SBR asks and they re-credited quickly! And waived a withdrawal fee.
So, in summary, if you claim bonuses, might be best to either not claim them at BetEd, or if you do, keep the bet sizes small.
Finally, thanks must go to Justin for his work on this and getting this situation to a fair conclusion.
