I just noticed today, that the once "free" contest at Sportsbook.com (where you pick against the spread all 13 NFL games for the week and if you get them all correct you get $100,000 without risking your own money) is now $25 for each week you pick your 13-team-parlay. Now even if $100,000 : $25 is a generous 13 team parlay value (which I am not sure it is, 13 team parlay ratios seem to be all over the place from what I googled), the fact that ties are counted as a loss, and the lines that they post are so obviously meant to cause at least one tie a week, makes paying any money for that crap a joke. All the spreads are 3, 4, 7, 10 ,13 etc points... they didn't even try to hide the fact that they aren't using half points in their lines for this joke of a promo. Last week (when it was free and I actually tried to do it) there were 4 ties alone!
Anyways, if anyones seen this "promo", could they explain how it could possibly be worth doing???
