    Sportsbook loyalty programs
Doing some research on Sportsbook loyalty programs..........and I need your opinions. Who has the best loyalty program and why?

If you were designing a loyalty program what would it look like?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I don't go about seeking these things
The only one at any of my books is Tabcorp's #1 club which I do appreciate

I like the Betpoints system that Cris uses. I would like it even more if I hadn't been kicked out of the program many moons ago, BUT I thought it was a good system. Rewards activity/action.

Second, I like BetJam's system of giving away an "avg wager free play" every 100 wagers.

Both good plans with Cris being superior and more valuable to the player.

BetJamaica as well...I went months betting every day and had actually forgotten about it. So a nice surprise when they credited my significant freeplay bonus at the time.....

There is no correct answer to that question. The "best loyalty program" differs from person to person depending on your betting style, amount, and number of wagers you make.

Seems Cris is a more complete program with a lot more options for using points.

I wasn't looking for a correct answer but rather some input on what people generally like.....any thoughts on that?

I never take my rewards in any form but cash.

If you bet $200/game at BetJam for 100 games, you get $200 in bonus. If you bet the same at CRIS and you're diamond, you get $138. For small timers, BetJam is better.

If you bet $1000/game for 100 games, you still get $200 at BetJam, l believe. At CRIS (assuming you haven't been booted from BetPoints), you get $784. Plus, CRIS gives you more points for teasers & parlays. So, for bigger bettors, CRIS is better.

                    Overall, I prefer CRIS.

selection of options there but for overseas customers the 'free bet' (effectively a cash bonus) is probably the best

and then of course there's Betfair
the more you bet the lower your commission
on top of that there are invitations to enjoy their hospitality at various sporting and other events

i have received loyalty rewards from bwin, partybets and m88. i think the first two can be reasonably generous; if the odd is the same, they may prompt me to use their site to make a bet. m88 program got worse recently.

                                        Diamond. Gives back money.
Betfair commission decrease by even 1% means about $200 extra per week for me.

sports.com loyalty program is nice, as they pay you (twice a month) some (small) pourcentage of yours bets in CASH (no freebets, points you have trouble to use, etc.). See details on http://www.sports.com/misc/loyalty.php

And I had no cashout issue with them.... (I made several cashouts, always 4 figures in us$)

Unfortunately, they limit me on tennis at 1$ per bet (ridiculous) and on soccer at 25$.....

Max, I have a question about your perpetual bonus system for teasers & parlays. Your bonus limit is $250. Recently, I saw the recent thread where you said you were increasing your teaser & parlay limits to $1000. If I bet a $1000 teaser as my first bet towards the bonus, do I also clear $750 in rollover, or do I have to wait until the next bet to start clearing the rollover?

On the bonus side of the house the max wager is still at $250. We are reviewing that. Your first wager will immediately count towards your rollover.

no its not the best and he explains why it isn't

i had a long talk with scotty about that as it does not reward the $500 a game player anymore than a $200 a game player

                                                  makes no sense.

                                                  player A makes 100 bets for 200 a game gets a 200 FP
                                                  player B makes 100 bets for 500 a game gets a 200 FP

Pinnacle doesn't mess around with loyalty programs...and since your unique feature is Pinnacle lines I don't think it will do you any good either. you should be looking to bet at the best odds possible not at loyalty programs…its another side of the argument. Why even bother with “loyalty” when u can get better odds!!
e.g. Pinnacle and Betfair – you will win more in the long run – “Value pays the bills”

If you were designing a loyalty program what would it look like?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

This is our preliminary thinking on the subject matter based on your feedback:

1 loyalty point for every dollar wagered based on lesser of risk or to win amount.

Every 1000 points is worth $1 in cash rebate

Standard player 0- 5000 wagered annually accumulates 1 point for every dollar
Bronze level 5001-25000 2 points for every dollar
Silver Level 25001-75000 3.5 points for every dollar
Gold Level 75001-150000 5 points for every dollar
Platinum Level 150,001 - 250,000 6.5 points for every dollar
Diamond Level 250,000 and above is 7.5 points for every dollar

Minimum monthly amount required to maintain your level equal to the monthly average. Example Sliver level members would be required to wager at least $2084 per month to maintain their level (25001/12). Any month you don't maintain the minimum you are on probation and if the second month you fail to meet the minimum you are dropped back to the previous level. This wouldn't affect your current points but would affect your level. To get back to the next level you would have to wager the difference again between the previous level. Example...silver dropped back to bronze would have to wager an additional $20,000 in order to move back up to silver.

We would add some additional items to the loyalty program that could be purchased with points but for now lets just talk cash.

So a Diamond level player would receive $7.50 for every $1000 wagered.

                                                        Feedback much appreciated.
