Run by the same people but target different groups is how I understand it. Greek targets more professional and higher rollers so they might be more affected by the MB book to book than Betjam.

Try to make transfers from MB to BJ whenever possible........try to keep things equal if possible.
Better our chances of BJ not stopping transfers like OLY

I did a transfer from Betjam to MB and it was easy and painless. Very impressed by Betjam. Now I got to figure out how to play at Matchbook. I did my first bet on the under for the live baseball game. If I win some money I'll transfer back to Betjam so we keep things equal.

matchbook puts a rollover(i think 4 times). the books dont want you transferring back and forth constantly.
i asked matchbook yesterday why greek is till listed on their cashier page as an option. they tell me this is temporary so they are leaving it up.

That sounds a little strange. It doesn't make a lot of sense for high juice books to be doing book to book with low juice books generally speaking. It doesn't seem that surprising to me. I wouldn't be surprised at all if more books don't follow suit or make it sufficiently difficult as to reduce the flow. If the greek was doing a lot of transfers with them it will only increase the pressure on the others now.

Maybe new ownership is where this "temporary" word is derived. Wait and see approach.

You might be as clueless as fishhead.
You all really think they are suspended because they are one way transfers? Greek has 10,000 as many betting options as matcbook, they are far more useful to most anyone.

In any voluntary arrangement both parties continue the arrangement until one party feels they are no longer getting sufficient value out of the arrangement. Since the Greek stopped doing transfers it is reasonable to believe that it is no longer in their best interest, at least from their perspective, to continue.
Perhaps there is some other reason than being too one sided but that seems a reasonable theory.
Do you have some insight to offer based on your experience?

One sided transfers is one theory.
Oly having concerns about MB's financial or legal status is another.
Oly wanting to hurt a competitor is a third.
But FWIW, while MB is hugely more useful for MLB than thegreek, that situation somewhat reverses now. At this time of year, as MLB winds down and football starts up, I would expect transfers to be more commonly coming FROM matchy TO oly.

If the majority of your plays are teasers/parlays/quarters, yes.
But you can't be laying -110 juice when you can get plus money at Matchbook on your side and total plays. And moneyline bets. Its Matchbook or you're taking it up the ass at the other sportsbooks.

many reasons to play at the greek and to need funds (large amounts) transfered in with no hassle.
book to books are the easiest
i don't care about any rollover required for that service

They don't cater to professionals who like to beat books to line moves, that is for sure.
