    matchbook- such poor service every day
    there is nobody available at livechat. there phone says to call back between 9 am and midnight. pinnacle could get away with only having email because they are great at it. i have emailed them but dont expect an answer anytime soon. this is about a book to book transfer TO them. the sooner the funds hit the account, the sooner they make $ in commisions. was requested 3 hours ago but i dont know if they recieved it because as far as i know, there is nobody there. far and away the worst overall customer service of the 10+ books i deal with. and its not even close.

    I have never had a single problem with them. Trust me - they will get back to you very shortly.

      i have a problem with them almost every time i try. are you telling me its acceptable to have the phone say to call back between 9 and midnight? its acceptable to not have live chat working (all the time?) its not. its poor service anyway you cut it. and its the norm with them.

          your missing the point tommy. its not that it has taken 3 hours. it could take 10 hours or 10 days (although there website says funds are transferred almost immedietly. my complaint is not the length of time that the book to book transfer has taken. im complaing that i cannot get through to customer service. not through phone, not through live chat, not through email. is there anyone at work today at matchbook? i wouldnt know. maybe they are having a picnic. and the sad part is, this is the norm for them. im not surprised, im just frustrated.

            When I e-mailed Matchbook, they e-mailed me back instantly. Maybe they are at lunch.

            E-mail them again. Its possible they did not receive it.

              Customer service is acceptable. You can't beat the lines. I'm waiting for some competition from one of the A books though. That would be sweet.

                  FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO SOMEONE AT MATCHBOOK. turns out, betjamamica actually never sent the email for the transfer. so frustrating trying to get through to these guys far too often.

                    Think it obviously makes sense to share any/all concerns about Matchbook considering its importance and the WSEX issues. I am certainly watching my balances much more closely than ever. That said, I have had several book-to-book transfers out of Matchbook where the balances were considerable and they answered e-mails w/in 15 mins and transfers were effected w/in 1 hour. Certainly not the worst cust service

                        email is the best way to comm with any book- be patient-matchbook always has answers their emails promptly

                              today in my fiasco, they could have responded to my email about the transfer by saying they have received no email from betjamaica. instead they responded nothing!

                              i sent another email later asking if they received my previous email and asking what is wrong with their phones and such. again i received no response.

                              in conclusion matchbook does not always answer there emails promptly. sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.

                                        some books will respond withen 20 minutes or so. its just very poor to take 24 hours to respond to emails especially when phone calls are not an option

                                          Request your transfer by email and copy BOTH books. They'll go through quick.

                                            Sounds to me you were trying to do a transfer after hours.Maybe there is a difference in time zones where it may have been like 3 AM for them?I have always had emails and live chats done promptly whenever I needed a book transfer.

                                              to their credit, over the past week or so they have been better. and when i could not get onto livechat they were upgrading it(or just completed an upgrade). if you notice, it looks a bit different. but i would not be surprised (expect) to receive poor service from them again in the future. i still need them and love them though

                                                You have to understand that they run LEAN operation to pass savings to you. But if you want instantaneous live chat than you would be better of with Betfair. You Pay For What You Get.

                                                  no excuse to have a phone saying to call back between 9 am and 1 pm. during those hours. this happens all the time. i dont feel like its a lack of employees. i often get the feeling they are very lazy over there.

                                                        i dont mind live chat. but its pointless if its not done right. my favorite customer service of all was pinnacle. rarely needed and would email you back withen minutes every time.

                                                              seems like half the time i call during there business hours, there is a message saying to call back between 9am and 1 pm eastern. up untill the last 10 days i have been about 50-50 on their live chat during business hours. and as mentioned in this thread i have waited a long time for emails. (this is not even including an issue i have been waiting on an emailed answer for over a month that im sure will never come. there software told me i would make very little on a market- about 50 cents and instead i lost 50 cents on the market. no explanation of what happened but not nearly worth my time. i have screenshots proving the malfunction and all. i have sent multiple follow up emails but have received no responses to those lately.)
