i wasn't trying to denegrate your character but when i say you lied it's more like you didn't tell the whole truth and I certainly didn't say you tried to steal.
I've already explained why they can't check every deposit, it's not a perfect world and your argument that they wanted to keep your money is bs. They were just trying to cover themselves and if you had explained the full story to them in the beginning there would have been no issue in the first place.
I just feel it's wrong to come on here throwing abuse at bookmakers and not accepting any responsibility yourself, there is a paranoia that seems to run through gamblers that makes them think everyone is trying to rip them off. Reputable bookmakers like BWIN do not just steal peoples money, they don't need to, they are making millions legitimately. If there was a little bit more trust from bettors then things would run a lot easier and situations like this would not occur and you wouldn't come on here giving good companies a bad name.

Maybe I was a little paranoia and opened up a topic too soon but as I already said: this was the first time I played online and after seeing my account getting closed without an explanation and googling about it and seeing it has happend before, I freaked out a bit.

Salihzz, don't worry about it. Just be sure when you open your next online account to be careful with all the banking, etc. details matching up to your account info. You might consider taking a screenshot of your sign up pages as proof of exactly what you entered. I don't (too lazy ), but I have seen it recommended on here.

You probably saw quite a few Bwin complaints online as they tend to get targetted by Euro scammers. Still, it ended well for you insofar as you got your money without too long a delay.

congrats, and you did exactly the right thing by coming on the forum. If having your account closed is not a good enough reason to voice your concerns, I don't know what is.

If the players don't look out for one another, you can kiss online gaming goodbye.

Bwin is like a broken bicycle, why to ride it at all? Just avoid it or you all playing there will lose your ASSets and break your bones. Bwin is the worst book I ever encountered, real good organized top down crooks, their corporate culture is about stealing.

This is true, however he is something I don't understand.

Why don't they just do all this verifying first??

Verify first, no problems later. The scammers know who they are, they know when they get busted, then they try to act all innocent like it's a mistake.

My problem is the headaches they cause innocent depositors. About two years back a poker room pulled off that BS w/ me because I used a prepaid VC for deposit. They wanted a copy of it, I didn't think anything of it because it was disposable, not in my name so I threw it away with a zero balance. Then when I wanted to withdraw they wanted a copy of it. I told them it was a disposable prepaid, and they acted like they didn't know what a prepaid VC was, which I know was a lie because if they work in finance department for a gaming site, they probably deal with them on a daily basis (more so than a lot of bank issued cards.)

Anyways, to make a long story short, they look for reasons. Every reason they can. I don't trust their "advanced fraud detection software" excuse either because is their damn software was so damn good in advance it would have brought up any issue upon registration.

They will let you deposit and deposit, and deposit with no questions asked. Where's the sense in that if their so worried about fraud?

Now here's another thing. EVERY SITE THAT I TRIED THIS ON !!!!! I've tried this on at least 4-5 sites. I had money in my account and I knew I was eventually going to withdraw so I contacted CS and said I want to verify so when I withdraw I won't have to wait. EVERY SINGLE TIME they told me (all the same thing from different sites) that they don't accept verification until you withdraw. Now what the point in that?

There's just more too this going on behind the scenes in the finance departments. You want to talk about the book taking shots at the players, 90% of the books taking shots is in the finance department and has nothing to do w/ bets or lines.

It's always the same old story on this forum as others.

"................... I went to log into my account after making a withdraw ........... then my account was closed ................. and now they wont give me my money"

The "filled in incorrect details upon registration" is a common excuse at bwin, I have read on several forums...
