    Question about DSI and BookMaker
Are Diamond(DSI) and BookMaker essentially the same book? And if so, how come Diamond will accept my Debit Card but BookMaker won't? Thanks for your help in advance.

Had the same issue but opposite books, after 1 week and 6 phone calls I was able to deposit.

DSI copies BM's lines. There are two different sets of owners, though. I think DSI saves money this way. By copying, they don't have to have a full set of linesmen.

Both great books for limits, openers, and props but if you don't need super high limits there's really no reason to be betting into -4.55% in my opinion.

I have the same thing. Something about a bad credit history although I've never had a loan or used a credit card in my life. I always use cash or debit card. Here's the answer I got from Bookmaker.

CS - Mark: Our fraud control department set your account as "cash only" (no credit cards can be used with it).
CS - Mark: That is due to a bad credit history report they received related to your personal information.
CS - Mark: For further details you can call 1-877-512-1384.

Wow books checking our credit now? I heard something about a blacklist going around Costa Rica for stiffs and such. Did you ever leave a book with a negative balance and they might have stuck you on there?

DSI has some different lines like a 10 cent baseball line and they'll rarely vary on some other lines like half times. The CS floor, software and banking is the same but CS is in separate teams. Bookmaker and DSI will have different promotions.

They have different teaser and parlay odds at times. Also in addition to dime line they occasionally will have different number on a game, but very rare.

if they have different owners, why did my debit card not get accepted the first time at dsi.. i had to go on chat to get it transferred over to work at dsi instead of bookmaker.

I believe it was about a year or so ago I called Diamond and asked about limits. If I could bet the limit at BookMaker and then bet it at Diamond. I was told, that would be up to the floor/line Manager at the time of the bet.

So basically it wasn't something I could count on and I took this as meaning they were operating under the same platform, just different skins.
