Do Vegas spoortsbooks ban or lower limits like these shady offshore books do?
I've been reading a bunch of stories about offshore books bannings, or lowering peoples wagering limits to $1 and such.
Do Vegas books do these things? (Just for winning)

Got to be instances where they will limit or not take bets from some. That's why "beards" are needed to put bets in on behalf of others. And why guys like Fezzik need to where a disguise when they visit some properties.

Vegas sportsbooks manage their own books, shady sportsbooks cant seem to do that so they manage their players by cutting limits.
The only offshore sportsbooks that don't cut player limits are pinnacle, greek and bookmaker and they are the 3 best books by far in the offshore industry.
Fezzik is a freak of nature and is one of a select few who can consistently beat the books betting the regular pre-game way. You've got to hand it to him.

I got banned from wagerchief and phoenix for winning at mania, now I cannot cash in my points for freeplays or enter a lot of the contests, and it delays me being an SBR Pro because I have to save up cash for Vegas.

I like to think of a sharp wager as an act of violence directed at the sports book's bottom line. Be warned--most sports books (Vegas included) will react as such.

Most regular sportsbooks (R) will cut player's limits if they think their players won too much or have some strategies to win money from their books. some small sportsbooks even close big winning accounts. For those big sportsbooks (Like: thegreek, pinnacle, bookmaker, WSEX....Etc). they will likely cut their winning players' limits. But no guaranteer, just less chance. If you want to play at books without any limits cut, You have better join some exchange books (Like: matchook, betfair or ladbroke)...

I went on an incredible run at the Station Casinos having the Giants to win the NFC and SuperBowl, betting both the Phillies and Rays to win the NL/AL pennants and World Series and had the Rockies to win the NL Pennant the year before.
I had 7 major cashes and thought they might cut my limits but never did.
I don't see why Vegas books would cut a players limits as everyone has friends they can use to place their wagers for them.

Fezzik has never beaten the books consistently. That is patently untrue. He's won a few high profile handicapping contests but is a very mediocre pro otherwise. Anyone with any knowledge of Vegas is aware of this.
Don't believe everything Chad Millman tells you.

Fezzik even admits he is better at contests than straight bets. But I have to believe no matter what the rumor he can't be doing that badly outside the contests.

The answer to your question is yes. I have had bets turned down at every major book in Las Vegas because I was a winning bettor. Solution? Hired help. Books don't want winning bettors--they don't factor into the plan of the business. Start winning and they will eventually show you the door. Always have a backup plan for when you start winning money at the Vegas books.

Durito,
Since you decided to run and cry to Justin @ SBR over my "idiot" comment, I made sure to let him know about the following comment you made to another poster in this forum.
Apparently you can dish it out but you sure can't take it.
Since the truth should always set you free and my statement about you is definitely a truthful statement, perhaps Justin will lift my infraction or at the very least give you one for your comment.
Perhaps I simply forgot to use an expletive but I'll try and remember to do so the next time.

I agree with you totally. If you win too much that is. Just try to stay hidden by doing lower bets and multiple places and that will work I would think.

How do the casinos track this if you don't show a players card or show ID when you place your bets? Do they require this for bets sometimes, because I have never been asked to show anything despite some larger wagers.

Monkey, unlike you, I don't gamble for pennies.
Your claim that Stations will not allow you in the building if you win too much is so ridiculous, that I won't waste my time setting you straight.

Any more evidence needed?
Doesn't this question PROVE why online gambling needs to be regulated and legalized? A Harrah's or MGM would be advertising & taking pics to invite the majority of stiffs to come on over. Public corporations and true marketing firms understand these principles. One Moby Dick story invites 1000 flounders.
