Bankwires in general sometimes have fees from intermediary banks or your own banks but it's usually the cheapest way to move bigger money. Check with your bank and ask them if they will charge you a fee to receive international money.

And if they do, find a different bank.

Most banks are like $30 to send.
Sometimes an intermediate bank will steal like $30.
Some banks are $10-30 to receive. Most banks will wave this if you keep 5 figures in your account.

If you are asking about really big problems then yes there are some huge issues, but most of the time you will never experience it. The problem is if the information is entered incorrectly, then it could take over a month to sort it out. It is crazy sometimes. So, make sure it is all correct before using this method. I have used them a few times and never a problem, only have heard horror stories.

I already requested it via *** and entered all the correct info. Hopefully it all comes through by the end of the week.
