WTO and other organizations are sponsored by the US because the US gets more out of them than they give up. Believe it or not the whole planet doesn't revolve around what the US wants or needs despite some believing it should be that way. The main reason (IMO) why the US is so opposed to internet gambling is because this money will leave the US and not find it's way back. But hey I"m sure the people of Antiqua, costa rica, and Kawanwake are greatful. I'm sure if full tilt poker could be run from a server in California they would be all over that.
