#2If you don't pay your debt like a real man, then you deserve for it to affect your credit score....and much worse.
But to answer your question, they're probably just blowing smoke.Comment -

I do not believe for a second you had nothing to do with stopping the credit cardComment -

#4No, the transaction wasn't exactly legal in the first place. They aren't allowed to collect on the debt, and I'd also doubt that they have any relationship with any of the 3 credit agencies.Comment -

#5IIRC Bodog is the only place that will report you to the credit bureau under whatever front company processed the deposit. All hearsay.
But OP, you suck. You fraudulent ****.Last edited by Thremp; 12-13-07, 01:53 AM.Comment -

#6I think they can as well... When I opened an account and signed up for NU Charge I had to submit certain information like my SS number... If you submit your SS number or did at any point then i say yes... They asked me security questions on there that they would only know if they saw my credit report...

#9Did you know that charging back also affects your credit score and the trust with your bank? How many times have you made a big deposit and charged back on a company because you lost? You can check with Trans Union, Equifax that chargebacks make you look bad on your score as well!Comment -

#12Oddly enough while scrolling through some documentation I came across this:
404 That page doesn’t exist! Sorry, the page you were looking for could not be found. in the meantime, try one of these options: Go To Homepage
I wonder if the two are related? Hrm?
Boy sand Girls, careful where you make your debts, it looks like the collections agencies are getting involved!Comment -

#16Like I said when I had to answer security questions one of them was DIRECTLY off of my credit report and there was no other way they could have gotten that specific info. I believe him...
As a matter of fact another security question was: which one of these people do you know and one of the answers was my sister... That is NOT on my credit report so how the hell did they find that one out..??????????????

#17Had the same thing happen to me years ago. Deposited like $150 and lost it the same day. Never went back there after that. Almost a year later I got a call from a collections agency saying I owed them $150. I wasn't sure what it was about but called bodog and they told me the transaction was declined by my bank and that I owed $150. I said ok and the bodog rep told me I could settle for half of the amount. Paid the man his money and went on my way. He even offered me a deposit bonus if I was interested in playing with them again, but I declined.
If you intentionally canceled the transactions then thats not cool, but I totally understand if your bank did it on their own. Things like that happen and not everone pays attention to that stuff. Either way, you lost the money and need to settle up on it.

Any company can check your credit report.
Move into a new apartment?
Open an account with the energy company?
They'll check your credit report

#25Not true money. A person or company can pull anothers credit for a variety of reason. One of the most commonly used is the extension of credit i.e. credit cards, loans, ect. You are depositing in your account hence no extension of credit. Some companies, like youbet, will pull a soft inquiry on your credit to alleviate fraud. However, when you sign up you agree to their pulling your credit. Unless bodog asks for your permission they are not able to do that. Now, a company can pull anothers for the collection of debts. However, they can only do so for legal debts. Since bodogs operations in the US are illegal they cannot pull nor can any collection agency working for them. When betcris scammed me I put a stop on my deposits. They sent them to a US collection agency. I told the CA the debts were not legal and if they pulled my credit or contacted me again I would sue the pants off them and they fled with their tails between their legs. BTW, I have over 7 years experience in collection laws, credit bureaus, ect. Tis my specialty so to speak. FCRA, FDCPA, FCCPA.Comment -

#31LOL it's funny, we bitch and complain that the US is stopping banks and CC' companies from depositing to online gaming sites, yet we look for ways to cheat and scam a payment back to our cards. I think I'll stick to my local and the real casino's. Less hassle.Comment -

I think what people need to understand is just because a collection agency calls you or bills you does not mean sh*t... This does NOT mean it will appear on your file or that they can really do anymore then ask for the payment... Their are places like cell phone companies that will send you to collections if you don't pay but IT WILL NOT APPEAR on your credit report.. I know this 100% unless it's changed in the last three years...

#35About 5 years ago I had some financial issues and was behind on many things so much went unpaid... Sprint was one of them and it never appeared on my credit file... There were a lot of things that I thought would and did not... I have since made my way back and paid everyone even if it was not on my file...
This is from personal experience but that is not to say that things could not have changed in the last few years this is why I added that above... By the way this was the second time it's happened with Sprint.. The first time was in 93' when they opened up here and cell phones really took off... I thought I was a hot shot kid with a cell phone... Got behind on it and the bill didn't get paid for a couple of years... IT ALSO NEVER APPEARED ON MY FILE!!!!
