No doubt dude. I was frantically trying to get my early morning work done and couldn't get a bet thru. THEN they flash the maintenance sign.

Sorry some of you guys that had early offers up--I was trying my best to help you out!! lol

3am to you may be 8pm to me!

regardless of when it's done an email would be good ... and ditto to BetFair ... an announcement in the Forum is just not good enough ... who checks in there every day?

fair warning is the main issue. my suggestion of 3 am is another way of saying overnight for US sports which i assume is the main market they cater too. but im sure u knew what i meant Hareeba!

I doubt you'll find many Matchbook users who disagree with your request!

I highly doubt they are doing scheduled maintenance.

They were more likely having other website problems and that's the excuse they gave. Matchbook claims to do more maintenance than the next 50 highest ranking books combined.

They don't take action on anything that starts between 3am and 7am EST, and most days of the week nothing before noon, so if they just picked a day without any soccer games they'd have a very long window where they could do maintenance and not have to worry about games starting any time soon.

                        makes sense for sure
on the other hand Betfair have a far greater problem as there is never a time where it won't interrupt something they offer, such is the broadness of their scope on events around the clock and around the globe
