Canbet got away with retroactively canceling CPs. The regulating body said that since most books don't allow CPs, it was ok for Canbet to cancel them. It was posted here a few years ago.

ALL books accept correlated Parlays. MOST books have software in place to disallow overly correlated parlays. THIEF books allow the bets with their software and then decide after the fact if the bet should stand.

Truth is 80% of the time players are smarter than the books. As new angels are discovered... new holes have to be plugged. If you find a good edge, don't talk about it online...

I mustn't be too smart then. After all these years I'm still waiting to see my first angel

Perhaps we should delete this thread, because there may be one Book still out there that has no concept of correlated action.

In the Canbet case, one player did this exactly one day. He deposited money on that day when he found they were taking them on this one day. They voided the parlays fairly quickly also.

Canbet was still in the wrong, nowhere near to the degree of Sportsbook.com. BetUS appears to be somewhere in between.

But they were allowing parlays like: 3 way parlay using: Tiger over Michelson parlayed with Tiger over Goosen Parlayed with Tiger over Els. Every weeks, tons of these kind of parlays for a few years. They must have gotten burned big time.... because they no longer allow it.

Crooked sportsbooks use the "correlated parlay" reason to steal your money.

To help clarify: how many complaints have I seen with a book rated B- or higher that voided winnings more than 1 day after a bet was taken (and that for a flagrant past-post): 0.

I don't control ratings for books, although I think my opinion is considered. Voiding CPs months or even weeks after the event is horse-shit, and reflective of a D- book, regardless of what rules you have on point.

If a book doesn't want CPs, it should control this with its software. If it takes the bet, and later voids this (especially en-masse), they are free-rolling players, and deserve to be ridiculed.
