Help with Pinnacle - decimal system / timezones
I've just registered with Pinnacle and I must be thick, but I can't find a way to change the odds to a decimal system (found it!), nor can I find a way to adjust the game times shown to my timezone, instead of the one currently used. Can somebody please help me? Thanks

Oh man, thanks guys, now that I know where to look, it's almost embarrassing that I didn't find it myself, but I think even if I were looking for it a whole day, I doubt I'd ever think of looking for it above the logo. It's almost like they tried to hide it...

Now how about the timezones? I'm in Europe, GMT+1, so I'd like to have the start times adjusted accordingly...

Wow... I was just told you cannot adjust the timezone settings according to your own timezone!?? WTF? Seriously, they don't allow Americans to play, yet all their game times are displayed in Pacific time! So even when betting on soccer and other games taking place in Europe, I can only see Pacific times... How the hell does that make any sense? So disappointing

Yeah, and I really, really don't get it WHY the chose the Pacific time? If they can only show 1 timezone, why not at least chose GMT? But no, they chose the Pacific time, while they don't even let the people from the Pacific timezone to bet! Somebody please find a reason behind this, cos it's driving me mad...

They are always asking for feedback and suggestions so why not tell THEM instead of coming on here to make a fuss about such a trivial matter?

Aside from not having to stay up until the AM's for Lakers games and have considered this to be the second best perk about living on the west coast.

I did ask about the time zones and they gave me the same old reply "Only one timezone possible, so we chose the Pacific time. We might change that in the future, but the current system does not allow it." As far as I understand it, they've been saying this for a long time now and nothing has changed...

Potentially missing a start time because of this does not seem trivial to me. The only trivial thing here is your reply.

Whilst it would be a plus for them to introduce user timezones, Pinnacle are far from being alone in not having them so surely any serious punter would make their own arrangements to ensure that they know the start time of events they plan to bet on?

Even Betfair which attempts to do it, frequently has incorrect times listed on their pages. Don't expect books to do everything for you.

Comming from an IT/web development background I find it incomprehensible why adding custom timezones would be that hard for them. I don't expect the bookie to do everything for me, I would however appreciate the ease of use and not having to keep switching between my bookie and other websites with corresponding schedules just to be on track... it's definitely a needless nuisance that hurts customer experience.

If a book like Expekt.com can do it, I would expect nothing less from Pinnacle.

I know well before I start to look for odds when the events I'm interested are scheduled

That might work if I were betting on two or three games per day, but personally, I can't keep track of start times of 10 or more events, without referring to a source. Anyway, your betting habits are of no concern to me and just because mediocre service works for you, you shouldn't assume it should work for everybody else as well. Bottom line is, there is no excuse for not offering custom timezone adjustments, especially since they are not even operating in or having ANY customers in the timezone they are using to timestamp the events. While you might be easily satisfied, I am not... Have a great day Sir!

                                thank you
but just for your interest I would average bets on at least 10 events per day
right now I am looking at 16 tennis matches alone and had the scheduled start times documented several hours ago ... it's called being properly prepared for your work .. no need to rely on bookies for basic information such as that
