#2I think SBR is the most active and seems to attract the most good posters...but I run by a few other forums every few days: EOG, PeepsPlace, MajorWager. ****************.Comment -

#7Covers and The RX are nothing but shills for their advertisers. Many of their advertisers have gone belly up and stiffed their posters. Whats disgusting is that they will delete any posts that warns posters of these stiff books.
I have no desire to promote these shit sites that are there to steer you into these shady sportsbooks.Comment -

#10At The Rx I warned posters to get their money out of BetOnSports, Millennium, etc... My post was deleted and I was put on post review. A few days later all BetOnSports owned sportsbooks closed their doors. The Rx not only promoted them as safe but recommended posters to buy stock in the company!!! The stock crashed and is worthless.
Covers admits that they will delete all posts that hurt their advertisers. The Rx have promoted many sportsbooks that went belly up. The sportsbook "BetPanAm" was heavily promoted by The Rx. 6 months later they shut down and stiffed everyone. There are many more. Camelot...Aces Gold...LazerWager.Comment -

#11The best forums are private ones. Wish I could tell you how to effectively get on one of those, but its just not simple. Usually, what happens is you get "recruited" because you have posted something unique which someone picks up on. They invite you and then you get to go to the "share party". Doesn't happen over night. Outside of that, SBR is the best thing going of a public nature.
Wizzard of Odds is also good reference material. Casinomeister still has some value, but not like he did 3 years ago.Comment -

#17You will not find anything on the level of sbr. Covers.com has sportsbooks rated as "A" that are a "D" at sbr. I had an acct at this particular book and had untold trouble with them. I was utterly shocked that Covers had them as an "A". I soon realized why. They sponsored the "matchup" section on the site for MLB. Covers also wipes out unfavorable posts if they portray a sponsor in a less than favorable manner. They attribute this activity as an issue of fairness. My idea of fairness is a rebuttal from the rep at the book. Never happens. This is just my experience, you should always be able to express your opinion. Blocking and sensoring is a very large red flag in my world. BOLComment -

#27SBR is hands down the best I have ever seen on the web and this is why I started posting recently.
Posters will bash SBR for certain grades, and places like BetOnline, BetPhoenix, and Jazz are rated too high, and are benefiting from some sort of financial relationship (past or present) with SBR
That being said, you are NEVER going to see some shit book like Sportsbook.com or BetED or BetUS, as their #1 most trusted book of the century, and this moronic stuff does happen at other forums.
90% of the time SBR gets it right. You can't even put the RX or EOG remotely in the same class as Sportsbook Review.Comment -
