That rule doesn't make sense at all to me. You could wager a million dollars now and it would count for 0? They want people to hold off on their action for another month?

That is why it is called a football promo.

Should be great combined with their new exchange

Why wouldn't the rollover begin immediately? Why wouldn't they encourage bets with their 20 cents baseball lines? Makes no sense to me. BTW, are regular season NFL bets the only ones that count towards the RO? So many restrictions.

PS If you're going to do it, you might as well wait another month.

With all due respect, why wouldn't you count pre-season NFL and college football in the rollover process?

Doesn't make sense. NFL is like one day a week. MLB is every day.

No it doesn't--especially since they're a full juice Book. Makes you wonder who's in charge of the operations. Awesome promo, but there's no reason to take advantage of it until the second week of September. By then, most people will have their Books in place. So great promo RW, but poor execution.

The truth is JJ works a day job for the EPA doing site inspection and picks up extra cash driving traffic as resident buffoon on internet forums. He is absolutely not a professional gambler. I would be mildly surprised if he actually places any bets at all.

You wouldn't happen to know by any chance what sport was played tonight in Canton, Ohio would you?

And 90% of the books that have football specials right now do not have this requirement of rollover only starting in 4 weeks. The reason is quite simple - It doesn't make sense.

Just to be clear, every book has the right to set their own rules, and RW has clearly defined when the rollover starts, so their should be no excuses for people mistaking otherwise. However, as to the logic behind the rule, that definitely can and should be debated.

i've gotten a few promos myself and none of them require you to wait till the first nfl regular season game for rollover to begin. thats just ridiculous.
