I have a ********. I heard that they don't take deposits made by credit card. Does this apply to ********?

make your own decision. me & my friends have used GP several times so far with no problem. Books don't take deposits made by credit cards. That should include all credit/debit cards..

LordVodka, you can use Money gram, western union, xoom, echeck AND credit cards at Gold-pay... you just hvae to email them for the credit card and theyll tell you to send id, back and front of CC and bill with address on it.

I know I've done that. So now that I deposited with credit, how long does it take to show up.

I wanted to make some bets tonight but they still haven't credited me.

Gold Pay is very good. I sent them a MoneyGram Monday night and it was in my account Tuesday morning (I sent it in after they process deposits). Their CS is very good from what I have encountered... Matchbook takes Gold Pay deposits... only if you dont deposit into gold-pay by creditcard...

Good Luck. Gold Pay is definitely a viable option

fulltimehobo, I deposited using a debit card. So it's pretty much money that I won't be able to use?

I got an email from Matchbook saying they would allow this.

Not sure. They may treat debit differently?
Talk it out with matchbook CS. Im sure they will help you out.
I just read in their "cashier" section that they wont accept ******* if the money deposited into the GP account was done so by credit card.
I played it safe and did a Money Gram.

when you Fund your Gold-pay account via **, ** or Xoom, make sure the gold price is going up in the day. then you won't lose any money when the funds reach your GP account.

Now it's the price of gold--just one more punch the poor old sports bettor now has to roll with.

I deposited the minimum just to try it out. $60

My account shows $47 due to a charge of $12 fee. **** this.

Matchbook better find other ways to fund or they are dead to me.

                            One last question.

Isn't matchbook supposed to reimburse me for the $12?

I think they give you commission credits for the $12.

So my bank just called cause they thought there was credit card fraud going on.

Looks like I'll have to my reloadable debit card to deposit into *******.

That's where the problem comes in. They charge you $5 to reload plus 12% fee to *******. If I want to deposit $200 into matchbook for example I'd be paying $30.

Why dont you just do Matchbook direct deposit, it will cost you zero, it takes 5 business days, but it works well and it is easy, you can do it from you own home. I recommend highly.

I would call or e-mail them about getting the $12 that ******* charged as commission credits. I know the 3.5% Matchbook charges you you will get in commission credits but not sure about the amount ******* would charge.

I think customers who have made largish deposits in the past have been offered that option via email, it's not on their site. If you call them I would guess they would work with you.

Be careful with gold-pay guys. I deal in these digital currencies, and they are risky because of the fact that they dont use exchangers, which means no one will know if they are encountering problems. Besides, 2% per transaction !!!!! Check these out, they have been around and deal outside of the gaming community as well as in it:
                                            Liberty Reserve
