Do they send you U.S bank issued checks or Canadian?

I hate to get a Canadian check since it takes more time to clear those

some banks will hold a canada check and not clear it for quite a long time,my bank clears them the next day after deposit

My bank always makes the money from checks available the next day at midnight... no matter where it comes from.

The checks are drawn on a Canadian bank but they are cashable at a New York American bank so there is no hold or wait
