They're fine as long as you never win. Anyone been defrauded who didn't ask for a payout?
It eats me up when I hear people say "they're fine for 90% of the players" - the 90% that never withdraw.
It is crap books like this that made me want to help SBR.

Justin,
You are right on the money when you say that it is crap books like this is make the industry look bad. They have great potential to be very profitable because of the name and they have blown it. They have ruined their reputation and that just plain bad.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with making bets that are more advantageous to yourself, than to the sportsbook; No rules were broken by these players. The fact that sportsbooks don't like what these players did, is too bad. This is no excuse to steal their money. Thank you SBR for warning about these crooks, and for standing up for what is right here.

I had called SB a number of times stating that I already bet the limit at sportsbook.com and asked if I could now place the same bet at my other account at allpro. each time I asked, i got the same answer. They said they were two serperate books and I was free to do so.
Then about a year ago they came bck and said I abused the system and dramatically slashed my limits, and told me I was circumventing limits and if I did it again they would close my accounts. I pointed out that I had specifically asked if it was ok to place the same bet the limit at more thn one book, and was told that it was allowed. They didn't care what I was told.
The CS people who answer the phones, emails, and live chat don't know anything. They don't know what the rules are. So asking them questions about what is or isn't allowed is a complete waste of time. There are no written rules regarding having accounts at various books. They intentionally keep the rules vague so they can pick and choose who they want to steal from.
These guys have no integrity. If they can justify in thier mind to steal from you, and if they think it would be profitible to do so, they will. I'm happy to be done with them, although I do miss all of my bonus miles.

Marc,
At least they gave you some warning. It would've been nice if they told me I collected too much bonus money or made too many $10 Freebets and told me I was no longer able to do either. I would've been disappointed, but that would have been within their right, but the deliberately waited until my balance was at it's peak so they could steal the most money from me.

In your opinion Bill is that ok to do..?
I think this guy is a bonus scammer!!!
No, this is not what happened according to mgt. He is "not the kind of player that is supposed to get bonuses."
Regardless, it is irrelevant because Sportsbook.com didn't take a bonus back they robbed his account claiming they are taking back all earned bonus money they have given him. Undefined "bonus abuse" is the only thing they refer to. It's as simple as them looking at a winning account, confirming that he is unlikely to lose more money back, and stealing what they can before booting him. Sometimes they wait until there is a nice healthy deposit and winnings about to be withdrawan.
This has happened in the past but was paid back. If you are a winning player and see the opportunity at Sportsbook.com it won't take much arm twisting when PlayersOnly makes you an offer. Once you use more than one book in their web they have you.

Good post! sums it up.
Although, I wouldn't say the CS is clueless as much as mgt. is not following in line with what they told CS to say.
When we met with Sportsbook.com we had suggestions to make sure then corrected issues didn't come back in the future so we could talk about an upgrade. One suggestion was to put in the TOS that players are not allowed to take multiple bonuses from books within the SB family. They balked at that because it would hurt busiess. They wanted their cake and to eat it to. Now, they want their cake and your cake.

Well then Mgt. needs to tell you what he did exactly or it should be asked specifically "HOW" were the bonuses abused... You need to ask questions...
I don't buy the garbage that they wait for your account to run up then take it from you... I have had 15K+ which is more then he did and from day one until now (with the exception of the payout delay a few months ago) I have never had an issue with them...
I don't f*ck around with bonuses unless it is automatically given... If I have to call and ask for it I won't do it... Too lazy... I have NEVER asked for their free bets...
Like I said I am thrilled "certain types of players" don't/won't play there anymore... It makes my money even safer...
I am interested in this though and I may call and ask Mgt. what happened myself...

Louis: You are dead on. SB accepted these bets for years and paid on them. Now it's suddenly wrong?

So what they changed their mind... I said it before and I will say it again when you take a sucker out of a baby mouth they will cry about it... This is what is happening...
THINGS CHANGE!!! DEAL WITH IT!!!
You don't get it. They change their minds and then steal based on their new mindset retroactively (that means they steal based on what they believe now, not their previously stated rules). And only an idiot buys it.

No YOU don't get it... They made a change... They put it in their T & A... It's been established that you don't read them.. I mean sh*t even AFTER you knew about this whole deal you put one in and hoped to get away with it.. HONEST BETTORS DO NOT DO THIS!!! This tells me it wouldn't have mattered if you knew about the change or not... You were going to do it until they stuck one in your as*... Actually even after they stuck one in your as* you still did it... Jack as*es learn faster!!!
How are they supposed to deal with things they want changed ...? Are they supposed to beg you and remind you a hundred times to read it..? You would have NEVER found out the rule change if they didn't kick in your as*... I'll say it again ...you finding out made NO DIFFERANCE because you did it again anyway and now that the sucker is out of your mouth you are crying about it... THE SUCKER IS GONE DEAL WITH IT!!!
I don't expect you to admit it... People just don't do that.. How many people have ever came on the boards and said "ok I tried getting over on this book and they caught me can you help me out?.." Or how many admitted it after being caught..? People just are not that way and you are no differant..
